What is Aadhar Card enrollment?

In order to enroll yourself for the Aadhar Card service or to get a new Aadhar Card, you will have to visit your nearest Aadhar Card Seva Kendra. After visiting the Aadhar center you can fill out the Aadhar enrollment form and get a new Aadhar Card for yourself or your family members.

You will have to carry all required documents with you while visiting the Aadhar Center. At the Center, all the important Demographics details (Name, Address, DoB, Gender, Mobile & Email) & Biometrics details (Finger Prints, Iris & Photograph) will be saved securely online in the UIDAI database. After that, your Enrollment will be completed and the official person will issue a new Aadhar Card to you

UIDAI has introduced a new online booking facility for the Aadhar Card enrollment process. Anyone can book an online appointment at the nearest permanent Seva Kendra and visit the center on the appointment date to avoid any rush at the center.

Aadhar Card online appointment booking steps:

1-Open the official website https://uidai.gov.in/

2-Now click the “Book an appointment (Beta)” link located under the My Aadhar menu item. On the next page, you will get two options to book an online appointment

1. Book an Appointment at UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendra
2. Book an Appointment at Registrar runs Aadhaar Seva Kendra

i-Book an Appointment at UIDAI run Aadhaar Seva Kendra:

Search for the nearest location and click the Proceed to book appointment link. A new window will appear on the screen (as shown below).

Note: This is currently a pilot project run by the UIDAI so you will find only a few popular cities for online appointments. In the future, more cities will be included for online appointment booking.

You can choose any one option from Aadhar Update, New Aadhar, and Manage Appointments.

After that enter your Mobile number, given captcha code, and click the Generate OTP button. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Enter this OTP to proceed with the next appointment process. You will see a new window.

Now you will have to complete the next four steps for the online appointment booking.

• Appointment – Select Indian or NRI and enter other information such as state, city, Seva Kendra
• Personal details – Provide details such as name, date of birth, Gender, Email id, mobile number, address details, etc.
• Time slot details – You will see the available date and time slot. Select any date & time slot for your visit.
• Appointment detail – Finally, verify all details and confirm your appointment booking.

Book an Appointment at Registrar runs Aadhaar Seva Kendra

1-Open the official website https://uidai.gov.in/ and click the “Book an appointment (Beta)” link under the My Aadhar.

2-On the next page, click the “Proceed to book appointment” under the Book an Appointment at Registrar run Aadhaar Seva Kendra.

3-Enter your mobile number or email id, given captcha code, and click the Send OTP button. Enter the OTP received on your mobile and click the Submit OTP and proceed button. On the next page, you will get two options.

1. New Enrolment
2. Update Aadhaar

Choose any one option, if you click the new enrollment then a new enrolment appointment form will appear on the screen ( as shown below).

Fill out this online appointment form and book any convenient date and time slot.

How to find Aaadhar card enrollment/update center near me?

Anyone can easily search the nearest Aadhar center and visit the center for an Aadhaar Card update or new enrolment. Please check the below steps.

Steps to find Aadhar Seva Kendra near me:

Step 1: Open the official UIDAI website.

Step 2: Click the Locate an enrolment center link under the MY Aadhaar or you may click the https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/easearch.aspx link to directly go to the Aadhaar center search page.

Step 3:On this page, you will get three options to search for the nearest Seva Kendra.

• State
• Postal (PIN) code
• Search box

i-Search by state:

Select your state, district, sub-district, and village/town/city from the drop-down menu. If you want to visit the permanent centers only then select the check box. Enter the verification code and click the Locate a centre button. A list of all centers will be displayed on the screen.

ii-Search by PIN code:

Enter the PIN code of your location, enter the captcha code and click the Locate a center button.

iii-Search by Search box:

Enter any location name, or city name and enter the captcha code. Click the Locate a center button to get a complete list of the nearest centers.

You will find that almost all centers are located at popular Indian Bank addresses. After getting this list you may visit any nearest center and apply for a new Aadhaar card or make corrections to your Aadhaar.
