What is Rajasthan Pre D. El. Ed. exam?

Rajasthan Pre D. El. Ed. (General/ Sanskrit) exam also known as Diploma in Elementry Education is conducted every year for admission in a 2 years teacher training diploma course program.

It was earlier known as BSTC (Basic School Teaching Courses). The main focus of this program is to provide the proper training to the teachers so that they will be able to provide quality education from class 1 to class 8 students. It focuses more on child education where candidates will be trained on child development.

All candidates who have completed their 12th class can apply for this course. There are a lot of DELED colleges in Rajasthan state connected with the Shala Darpan portal.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the complete eligibility criteria before submitting the online application form. Eligibility criteria are given below.

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be less than 28 years as of 1st July 2021. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women candidates will get the reservation benefits as per the state government rules.

Candidate registration

To apply for the Pre Deled exam candidates must register themselves on the official portal. After the registration candidates will get an application id that is required to fill out the online application form. Please check the registration process given below.

Step 1: Open the official website. You will see a registration link on the left side of the home page. Click on this new registration link. A new window will appear on the screen including a registration form (as shown below).

Step 2: In this registration form enter the below-mentioned details properly.

  • Candidate name
  • Father’s name
  • Mother’s name
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Date of birth

Step 3: After entering all the details fill in the captcha code and click the submit button

Note: Please enter a valued working mobile number. Candidates will receive all the important Communications such as application id, password, exam-related information, etc on their mobile number so if you don’t have any mobile number please enter your parent’s mobile number.

How to login

After completing the registration process candidates will receive an application ID and password on the registered mobile number. Application ID is will be used to log in and complete the registration process on the portal. Please check the below steps.

Step 1: Open the official website. You will see the “log in to fill application form” link on the left side of the website. Click on this link. You will be redirected to a login page (as shown below).

Step 2: In the given login form enter your application ID and password and click the login button. You have successfully logged in to the portal and can start the online registration process.

How to fill out the online application form?

Pre DElEd online application form can be filled out through the official website. Candidates must have registered on the portal and received their application ID in order to complete the application form.

Important instructions related to the online application process:

  • As per the latest information, the online application process has already started on 9th June 2021.
  • Candidates must fill out their online application form on or before 10th July 2021.
  • The application form must be submitted only in the online form. Any hard copy of the registration form will not be accepted.
  • If candidates are not able to complete their online application form then they can take help from the nearest kiosk center.

Online application process:

Fill out the online application form: Complete the online application process by providing all basic details and educational details. Please ensure that all details are correct as per the records in the educational documents.

Upload photograph and signature: Candidates will have to upload their photograph and signature image. Photograph and signature must be in JPG, GIF, or BMP format. The size of the photograph must be less than 100kb and the signature must be less than 50kb.

Online fee payment: After completing the online application process candidates can pay the required fee online. Fees can be paid through Debit Card, Credit cards, or Internet banking. Please download the fee receipt after the payment.

After submitting the online form candidates can download a hard copy of the submitted form for future reference such as during counseling sessions.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be an offline mode and candidates will get an OMR sheet to solve the questions. All questions will be in objective type form and there will be no negative marking for any wrong answer.

Exam Pattern important information:

  • There will be four sections in the exam pattern.
  • There will be a total of 200 questions in the exam
  • English paper will be compulsory for all candidates
  • Candidates can choose anyone from Sanskrit and Hindi
  • Candidates can use a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark the questions on the OMR sheet.
  • Each question will be 4 choices and candidates will have to mark the correct choice.

Admit Card

Candidates can download their Admit Card from the official website. Candidates can only enter the examination hall if they have a valid admit card. Admit cards will be available two weeks before the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card by using their application ID.

After downloading the admit card please check that all details are correct. If there is incorrect data on the admit card then please contact the Examination Authority as soon as possible.

Pre D. El. Ed. Results will be available after the examination. All candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their BSTC results from the official website only. Please check the below steps to download the result.

  • Candidates can open the official website
  • On the official website click the result link given on the left side.
  • A new window will appear on the screen where candidates can download their results. On this screen, candidates will get three options to see the result.
  • Choose any one option and enter the required details and click the Get Result Card link
  • Your result will be displayed on the computer screen

I have forgotten my application id?

If you forgot your application id then you can easily recover that by following the below-given steps.
1- open the official website Click on the login button given on the left side. You will see a login form on a new page. In this login form, click the forgot application ID link. A new window will pop up on the screen (as shown below).

2- In this form enter your name, mother’s name, mobile number, and date of birth.
3- After failing in all the information click the submit button. Your application ID will be sent to your registered mobile number.

I have forgotten my password?

If you forgot your password then you can easily recover that through the forgot password options given on the login page. Please follow the below-given process.
1- Open the official website and click the login link. In the login form, you will see a forgot password link.
2- Click on this forgot password link. A new window will appear on the screen (as shown below).

What is the maximum age limit?

The maximum age limit for the BSTC 2021 exam is 28 years.

Is it an online exam?

BSTC exam will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will get an OMR sheet where candidates will have to mark the correct answers with a black/blue ballpoint pen.
