Chancellor Portal Registration:

Students must register online and create their student profile in order to apply for admission to Jharkhand Universities. Please follow the below-given registration process.

Step 1: Visit the official website

Step 2: Click the Student Sign Up link in the top menu or visit the direct link

Step 3: You will see an online registration form on the screen. Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number, and create your new username and password.

Step 4: Complete the captcha verification and press the Sign Up button to finish the registration process.

You can now log in by using your new username and password.

  2. Click the “Subject Wise Criteria Combination” menu item.
  3. You will see a search form.
  4. Select your University, College, Course, Discipline, Stream, and Subject.
  5. Press the Search button.

Admission process:

  1. Login to your account:

    This section requires the students to open the official website and enter their login credentials to access their account.

  2. Click the “Fill admission form” link on your dashboard:

    Once the user has logged in, they can access the admission form by clicking the “Fill admission form” link on their dashboard.

  3. Enter personal information:

    In this section, the user is required to enter their personal information, such as their name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, marital status, reservation-related information, address, etc. Students will have to upload their photographs and signature also.

    After entering all details, click the Save Personal Information button to proceed to the next step.

  4. Enter academic information:

    This section requires the user to provide their academic backgrounds, such as the schools they have attended, the degrees they have earned, and any relevant qualifications. Click the Save Academic Information button.

  5. Applying for discipline:

    In this section, the user needs to select the discipline they are interested in pursuing, such as computer science, engineering, or business. Enter discipline information and click the Save & Verify button.

  6. Payment section:

    Finally, in the payment section, the user is required to make the necessary payment for their admission application to be processed. Students can pay the required fee online by using a credit/debit card or internet banking.

Students can view the latest notifications related to admission, examination, registration, entrance, merit list, etc through the Chancellor portal. Please follow the below steps.

  • Click the Notifications link in the top menu.
  • On the next page, select Academic Year, Notice Type, University, and College.
  • Press the Search button.

How to view the admission list?

If you want to view the admission list then select Notice Type “Admission“. Leave all fields as it is and press the Search button. You will see a complete list of a current and previous admission to different universities.

For example, I have selected the Notice type “Admission” and University “VINOBA BHAVE UNIVERSITY”. I got the VBU admission list (as shown below).

Students can click the View File link to download the admission notification where all the admission-related information such as admission deadline, application fee, course, etc are available.

Students can also view the latest admission list in the Announcements section on the homepage of the Chancellor portal.

Chancellor Portal Dashboard features

The Chancellor Portal Dashboard is an online platform that provides various sections for users to access information and services related to their education. Students can access the below section through their student dashboard page.

  1. Personal section: This section contains personal information such as name, date of birth, contact details, etc.
  2. Address section: In this section, users can update their current mailing address and other contact information.
  3. Academic section: This section provides information on the user’s academic history, including previous education, grades, etc.

How can I reset the password of my student account?

The password reset link is available just below the Login form. Students can easily create a new password through this link if they forgot their password. Please follow the below steps.

-Visit the official portal
-Click the Forgot Password link on the login form.
-On the password reset page, enter your username and given security code.
-Press the Search button. The system will search your account based on the username you entered.
-You will get an email on your registered email ID.
-Open your email inbox, click the password reset link, and create a new password for your student account.

How can I recover my Chancellor Portal Username?

Please follow the below steps to recover your Username.

-Visit the official portal
-Click the Forgot Username link on the login form.
-On the Username recovery page, enter your registered email ID or Mobile number.
-Enter the given captcha code and press the Search button.
-The Username associated with the entered Email address/Mobile number will be displayed on the screen.

How can I make admission fee payments online?

You can make an online payment through the Chancellor portal if your admission has been approved by the university you have applied. Please follow the below steps to make an online payment.

-Visit the official portal
-Login to your student account by using your login credentials.
-Click the Payment link in the left sidebar on your student dashboard page.
-To make the application fee payment, please select the MODULE NAME as ADMISSION and click the GET DETAILS button.
-After selecting the Admission module, you will see your form number, university name, college name, course name, applied date, and payment status.
-If the payment status is “Pay Now”, you can make a payment.
-Click the Pay Now button, and you will see fee details and the PayU payment gateway link.
-Click the Proceed button and pay the required fee through credit/debit card or net banking.
