Directorate of Vocational Education & Training, Maharashtra has developed an HRMS system for the employees to provide all important Human Resource management-related services online. All employees can access these services online through the portal and mobile app.

DVET Maharashtra is responsible to make policies for all ITI and other institutes which are providing vocational training to students. DVET is also responsible to streamline all processes related to manpower management so that the manpower gap can be filled very easily.

DVET HRMS employee services

There are many important services available through this portal. All information is already available through the user manual available on the official website. All employees can download this user manual PDF file and check what services they can access online. Some of the important services are mentioned below. Please have a look.

DVET registration process

If you want to access any service then you will have to complete the registration process. Please check the below-given steps to register yourself online.

Employee registration process:

  1. Open the official website

    First of all, you will have to open the official website which is accessible through the https://hrms.dvet.gov.in/ link.

  2. Open the registration form

    Once you open the official website, you will see the homepage. Now you will have to click the Register link which is located in the top right corner.

  3. Fill out the online registration form

    The next step is to fill out this registration form by providing all required details such as employee type, appointment type, employee name, date of birth, email id, password, etc.

  4. Complete the OTP verification

    After entering the all details you will have to click the GET OTP button. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number. Now enter this OTP in the given space and hit the Register button to finish your registration process.

Once you complete your registration process you can now login to the portal and access all available services and information. please follow the below steps.

1-Open the official portal and click the Login link located at the top right corner on the home page.

2-You will see a login page on the next screen.

3-Now enter your user name, and password and click the Login button. You will be successfully logged in to the portal if the user ID and password are correct.

What if I forgot my password?

If somehow you forgot your password then you can easily retrieve that with the help of the below steps.

1-Open the official website and again open the login page by clicking the Login link.

2-Now click the forgot password link located below the login form.

3-On the next page you will have to enter your email ID which you have used for the registration process. After entering the email id click the Submit button. You will receive a verification code on your email id.

4- Now enter this verification code in the given space and make a new password.

How to download DVET HRMS Android mobile app?

Using a mobile app is more convenient than using an online portal because users can instantly open the mobile app with just a click. By keeping this concern in mind Directorate of Vocational Education & Training, Maharashtra has also developed a mobile app for the users. This app is available for android users only.

Steps to download the mobile app:

1-Open the official portal on your smartphone.

2-You will see an android icon located on the top right corner of the mobile screen.

3- Click this icon, and a google drive page will open including the link to download the mobile app. Click here if the link is not working for you.

4- You will see a download link. Click this link to download the app-prod-release-dvet.apk file. Once downloading is finished click the APK file to install the app on your mobile phone. After the installation, you can log in to the HRMS system by using your user id and password.

How to apply for leave online?

1-Open the official DVET portal and log in by using your login credentials.

2-On your dashboard page, click the leave details link. You will see the below options.

  • Apply for leave
  • Apply for converting leaves
  • My leave balance
  • My leave history
  • List holidays

3- For a new leave application, click the apply for leave link.

4- You will see a new leave application form. Fill out this leave form by entering the leave-related information such as leave type, date, leave reason, etc, and submit this application form. Your application will be approved by the reporting officer.

How to fill/ update employee profiles?

All employees can view and update their employee profile after login on to the portal. Once you log in on the official HRMS portal you will find my profile link on your employee dashboard page. Under the My Profile section, you can view or edit the below-mentioned details.

  • Primary details
  • Address details
  • Family details
  • Category details
  • Qualification details
  • Experience details (outside DVET)
  • Present posting details
  • Posting history in DVET
  • Other details
  • Bank/ PF details
  • Preference for transfer

employees can edit all sections one by one and click the save button located at the bottom of each form.

How to fill visiting faculty profile?

All visiting faculty can update their profile online. First of all, they will have to register themselves on the portal.

1-Open the official website https://hrms.dvet.gov.in/. Now click the Visiting Faculty link on the top side.

2-A new visiting faculty portal will open in a new window. Now click the register link and complete your online registration process by providing all required details.

3-You will have to pay the required fee online to complete the registration process. Fee details are given below.

4-After the registration you can log in to the portal by clicking the login button and entering your user id and password.

5-After the login you will have to fill your profile from your dashboard page. Fill in all required information and click the confirm and save button.
