What is the FCI HRMS portal?
Food Corporation of India has developed an Employee Self Service system for the employees which is also known as the FCI HRMS. All employees can access all online services with the help of the online portal and mobile app. FCI has introduced all helpful services in the HRMS portal such as Online leave management, Reimbursement claim, Training information, Online Attendance facility, Check online reports, circulars, etc.
FCI employees can access the Employee Self-Service (ESS) in FCI HRMS and manage and track their own service requests in a convenient and efficient manner. The ESS serves as a one-stop workspace for intercommunication between various process areas in HRMS, providing employees with a seamless and user-friendly experience.
With the ESS, FCI employees can:
- Initiate various service requests
- Track the status of their requests
- Monitor the progress of their requests
The ESS in FCI HRMS promotes collaboration and communication among employees, allowing them to manage their own service requests without relying on HR staff. This not only saves time but also increases efficiency, as employees have the ability to track their requests and monitor their progress in real-time.

How to log in?
All employees can access all available online services after login into the HRMS portal. Please check the below-given steps.
FCI HRMS login process:
Step 1: Open the official HRMS portal at https://www.hrmsfci.in/.
Step 2: On the home page you will see a login form (as shown below).
Step 3: Now enter your employee ID in the user id field, enter your password which you will get from the IT system administrator, enter the given security code, and click the Sign In button. You have successfully logged in to the portal.
FCI HRMS Employee Dashboard
The FCI Employee Dashboard is a centralized workspace designed to help employees track and manage their HR-related activities. The Dashboard is accessible to all employees after logging into the HRMS and provides a quick and convenient overview of important information, such as planned leaves and holidays, attendance, training records, and more.
After the login employees will be redirected to the home page of the HRMS where they will see many services listed there. All employees can use these online services by clicking on any link through their dashboard. A brief overview of some of the important services provided by FCI HRMS is mentioned below.
- Dashboard: A centralized user interface that provides an overview of key information related to an employee, such as current leave balance, recent attendance, and upcoming training sessions.
- Attendance: Allows employees to view their attendance records and request leave.
- Leave: Enables employees to apply for various types of leave, such as annual leave, sick leave, etc., and view the status of their leave applications.
- Reimbursement: Allows employees to request reimbursement for expenses incurred in the course of their work, such as travel expenses, medical expenses, etc.
- Connect: A communication platform that allows employees to communicate with other employees, managers, and HR personnel.
- Training: Provides information on training programs available to employees and allows employees to register for training courses.
- Reports: Gives employees access to various reports, such as attendance reports, leave reports, etc.

Employees can click the dashboard link to check the latest notification and reports. They can also approve the pending requests through their dashboard page. Employees will also get a summary of the planned leaves and Holidays, attendance, Training, etc.
The main benefit of the employee dashboard is that there is no need to navigate to multiple pages. All the information and services are accessible through the centralized one-stop dashboard feature.
FCI HRMS mobile app
Mobile apps are also available for both Android and IOS platforms. All employees can easily download and use mobile apps. We are sharing the android app download and login process.
Note: FCI HRMS mobile app is developed specifically for the employees to manage their leaves and attendance directly through the mobile app in a more convenient and faster way.
How to download the mobile app?
Please follow the below steps to download the mobile app.
- Open the Google Play store app on your smartphone.
- In the play, store search HRMS FCI and Install the first app. Please check the developer name “Food Corporation of India”.
- Click the Install button to download the app on your smartphone.

Mobile app login:
- After installing finished, open the app on your smartphone by clicking the new app icon.
- You will see a login screen where you will find two login options.
- Login with employee ID
- Login through MPIN
- Click the log in with employee ID link.
- Enter your employee number and password and tap the Login button to access your account.
- You can also create an MPIN so that you can log in every time by just entering your MPIN and there is no need to enter the user name and password.
- To create an MPIN click the Login with MPIN link and again click the Create MPIN link.
- After that enter your Employee ID, and Date of Birth, type a new MPIN 2 times and click the Continue button.
- On the next screen, enter the OTP you receive on your registered mobile number. After the OTP verification, your MPIN will be created successfully. Now you can log in by just entering your MPIN.
Now you can use the mobile app.
Employee dashboard on FCI HRMS mobile app
FCI employees can access the Employee Dashboard after login. After Login, you will land on Employee Self-Service Dashboard
Employees can access the below services through their mobile app dashboard page.
- My Holidays
- Attendance Regularization
- Newspaper Reimburse
- Policies & Circulars
Employees can view their profiles by tapping the link at the top right corner. Employees will find their personal information, Qualification details, bank details, and dependent details.
How to download the salary slip through the mobile app?
Please follow the below steps to download the salary slip.
- Login to your account in the mobile app by entering your MPIN.
- Click the Salary module link on your employee self-service page.
- You will get two options.
- Salary details
- Under the salary details options, select the Month of the salary slip.
- The salary Slip will be shown below.
- Tap the “Download Slip” link to download the salary slip in a PDF file format.
- Open the salary slip and check your earnings and deductions details.
Apply for leave and submit attendance.
After login, all employees can apply for leave and submit their attendance through the HRMS portal. Please check the below steps.
Step 1: Open the HRMS portal or mobile app.
Step 2: Login by using your user id and password.
Step 3: After login, click the Leave module. After that, you will see the below-mentioned leave-related options.
- Leave station intimation
- Leave balance
- My attendance
- Attendance regularization
- Employee calendar
- Pre-approval for work on holiday
- Apply for leave
- Applied leaves
- Leave encashment
Step 4: Now click the Apply leave for a new leave application. Fill in all required details and submit this leave application form.
You will have to specify the leave category from the below list.
- Casual leave
- Restricted holiday
- Special casual leave
- HPL/Medical leave
- Compensatory leave
- Unavailed joining leave
- Earned leaves
- Paternity leave
- Adoption leave
- Child care leave
You can also check the previously applied leave by clicking the Applied leaves link. Click the Leave balance link to check the remaining leaves you can get in the current financial year.
Step 5: Click the My attendance link to check all information related to your presence and absence. You can use the Attendance regularization link if you forgot to mark your attendance through the biometric machine attendance system while entering the office. You will have to submit the required details and a reason for that.
How to edit profile information on FCI HRMS?
To edit your profile information using the My Profile Employee Self-Service, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Employee Self-Service portal
- Select the “Profile” option to access your profile information. The profile link is located at the top right corner.
- Review and modify the details under “Work Information,” “Personal Information,” “Nominee Details,” and “Emergency Details.”
- If any changes require approval from the admin, use the “Profile Edit Request” option to submit the request.
- Wait for the admin’s approval before your profile information is updated.
Note: You can manage your skills, work experience, academic records, qualification details, bank details, and other employee-related information through the My Profile Employee Self-Service.
How to communicate with other employees through FCI HRMS?
Please follow the below steps to communicate with other employees through the Connect+ chat facility.
- Log in to the HRMS application.
- Use the search function to find the employee you would like to initiate a conversation with.
- Click on the “Connect+” button to start a new conversation.
- Enter a subject line for the conversation and start exchanging messages with the other employee.
- The system will identify each conversation based on a unique Message ID, and the subject line will be stored as a permanent record for future reference.
- If a follow-up conversation is needed, you can initiate a new conversation related to the same subject using the Connect+ feature.
Note: Connect+ allows for open communication within the HRMS application and allows employees to search for and initiate conversations with other employees across any office.
What is the retirement benefit calculator in FCI HRMS?
The Retirement Benefit Calculator in FCI HRMS is a tool that allows employees to view their estimated retirement benefits based on their current salary and leave details. With an active employment status, employees can see how their gratuity and leave encashment benefits change over time.
Features of the Retirement Benefit Calculator:
- Display of retirement benefits based on the current date
- Automated fetching and processing of employee salary and leave details, as per the business rules governed by the gratuity scheme for government employees
The Retirement Benefit Calculator in FCI HRMS provides employees with a clear and accurate picture of their estimated retirement benefits, giving them the ability to plan for their future. With automatic processing based on the latest data, employees can be assured that the results displayed are up-to-date and accurate.
How to use it?
Retirement Benefit Calculator can be accessed through the left side menu in the HRMS employee dashboard. Just enter the date of separation and press the Calculate button to get the Retirement Amount.
FCI HRMS Directory
The Directory in FCI HRMS is a tool that provides employees with a comprehensive overview of the organization. The Directory allows employees to view the organizational hierarchy and obtain information about their colleagues and the company.
Features of the Directory:
- Employee Hierarchy: Employees can view details such as name, email, designation, division, location, and employee number of other employees in the organization.
- Organizational Hierarchy: Employees can view the organization chart of the entire FCI, including the different departments and their respective managers.
- Job Descriptions and Career Paths: Based on the designation, employees can access the job description and career path information of other employees.
The Directory in FCI HRMS is an effective tool for employees who are looking to understand the organizational structure and the roles and responsibilities of their colleagues. It helps to foster a better understanding of the company and promotes open communication between employees.
How to Submit Poverty information?
You will have to submit the property information in the HRMS system for the current financial year. The land you currently owned or you have purchased any new property must be informed through the HRMS.
- Click the Property link after login
- You will see two options Movable property request and an immovable property request.
- Submit all details by clicking both links.

What are the supported browsers for FCI HRMS?
Employees can use anyone from the below-given list of supported browsers.

What is the supported mobile OS for HRMS FCI?
If you want to install the FCI HRMS mobile application then please ensure that you are using the below-mentioned mobile operating system or any higher version to run or install the HRMS application properly.
• Android KitKat (Ver. 4.4) and above
• IOS 12 and above
Please note that always use the latest operating system because the os requirements may change in the future.
I am not able to generate the MPIN?
Please crosscheck your mobile number that has been provided during the migration of information as the HRMS mobile application would verify the user based on SMS using OTP. After that SMS verification, you will be able to create an MPIN.
I am not able to upload a document to HRMS?
Please note that there is a file size limit to uploading the documents online on the FCI HRMS portal. The document size limit is 5 MB except for the service book. If the documents you are uploading exceed the 5 MB size limit then they will not be uploaded on the HRMS. Another restriction is that you can upload only a PDF file or JPEG file.
How can I reset my FCI HRMS password?
In case you forgot your password and are not able to access your HRMS dashboard page, you may follow the below steps to create a new password for your account.
-Visit the official web portal https://www.hrmsfci.in/.
-On the login page, click the Forgot Password option.
-On the password reset screen, enter your user ID and the given security code.
-Press the Generate OTP button.
-You will get an OTP on the registered mobile number.
-Enter this OTP to verify yourself and create a new password.
How to download the FCI HRMS iOS app?
iOS app has been recently for iPhone users. If you have an iPhone then you may follow the below steps to download the app on your device.
-Visit the official portal https://www.hrmsfci.in/.
-There is an Ios app link just above the login form. Click this link or you may visit the https://iosbuild.hrmsfci.in/ web page.
-Dismiss the message of ‘Untrusted Enterprise Developer”.
-Tap Settings> General> Profiles or Profiles & Device Management> Food Corporation of India.
-Check and Tap on Developer Profile under the “Enterprise App” heading and add in Trust List.
-Make sure the device is connected to the Internet.
