As per the latest report, there will be two exam centers for the NRA CET exam in Ladakh union territory. Dr. Jitendra Singh Union Minister of state set this in a Press Conference.
While Inaugurating a two-day workshop on Capacity Building for Ladakh Officials at Leh, Dr. Jitendra Singh said that visited the timeline set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of the Ladakh union territory. Ladakh will work in line with the convenience of the youth of the union territory and there will be an exclusive exam center to conduct the Civil Services Exam.

As all job aspirants who are preparing for the Civil Service exams already know that Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 is scheduled to be held on the 10th of October this year. There was a long-awaited demand to include 1 exam center in the Ladakh region for the young job aspirants. Now, this demand has been fulfilled and only candidates can attend the civil services 2021 preliminary examination in Leh under the Ladakh union territory itself.
The main highlight of this press conference was the announcement of two exam centers for the common eligibility test in Leh and Kargil. Now all candidates in the Ladakh territory can attend their CET exam from their native place and they will not have to travel a long distance. This decision will help all the job aspirants to save valuable time and now they can focus on the preparation for their examination.
It will also be beneficial for the Women and Divyang candidates and they will not have to travel to multiple cities to attend an exam.
As per the previous update the Common Eligibility Test was scheduled to be conducted in September 2021 but it was getting delayed due to the Covid-19 corona pandemic. Now the CET exam will be conducted in the first quarter of 2022. Exact exam dates will be informed later after launching the CET official portal.
Currently, the National Recruitment Agency is hiring for the posts created to run the different offices and manages the NRA CET exam recruitment process. NRA will be responsible to conduct the CET exam which will shortlist candidates at the primary level for the group c and d government jobs in the Staff Selection Commission, Institute of Banking Personnel and selection, and Indian Railway.
