The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET 2024). This decision has been taken to help all interested candidates submit their online applications and pay the required fee on time.
We have earlier shared the NCET 2024 Registration, Notification, and other related information in our article. Previously the last date to submit NCET applications was 30th April 2024 which is extended to 15 th May 2024.
NTA Notice about NCET Application 2024 Last Date
Candidates can now submit their applications and make online fee payments on or before 15th May 2024.
National Testing Agency has shared this information through a notification shared on 30th April 20241.

Key information available in the NTA notification
- This notification is related to the Public Notice dated: 13 April 20242 regarding the online Application Forms for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024 for admission to 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2024-25.
- The National Testing Agency wants to give candidates an extension to help them fill out their application forms without any difficulty. It will help all candidates get the opportunity to apply for the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).
- Further dates about the correction window, advance City Intimation, downloading of Admit Cards, and declaration of Result will also be changed and will be displayed on the NCET portal at the appropriate time.
National Testing Agency also shared a few more important information such as…
“Refund of Duplicate fees (if any) to the concerned candidates (wherever applicable) will be initiated only after the reconciliation of fee data of all candidates as received from the concerned Banks/Payment Gateways Integrators with the fee data captured during the online Application Form of NCET 2024.“
“The candidates are not allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Any candidate with more than one Application Number will be treated as UFM (Unfair Means), even if found at a later stage, and strict action will be taken against that Candidate.“
Last date for correction in online application form:
Meanwhile, NTA has already notified the updated date for the correction in the application form.
The Last date for Correction in the Application Form is 18th May 2024 (up to 11:50 pm).
