The National Testing Agency is inviting applications for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) -2024. All interested candidates can submit their applications in online mode on the NTA website. The last date to submit the applications and fee payment is 30th April 2024.

Let’s check out more details and the online application process below.

A Common Eligibility Test or Common Entrance Test is a great way to manage the recruitment/admission process for multiple organizations/institutions. There are different CET exams conducted at national and state levels to manage the admissions in graduation, post-graduation, management, and Polytechnic programs and to manage the recruitment process for government jobs, etc.

What is the National Common Entrance Test?

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has given the National Testing Agency (NTA) the responsibility to manage the entire process for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the Academic Session 2024-25.

NTA manages this admission process through a single exam known as the National Common Entrance Test in short NCET. As decided by all stakeholders, if I am seeking admission into the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by premier institutes such as IITs, NITs, ETC then I have to clear the NCET exam.

In short, NCET is a CET exam conducted by NTA to manage the admission process in the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme.
