SECU Member Access Enrollment process
Member access service is available for the State employee credit union members where they can access their account online and manage all available services. If are new to member access then you will have to enroll yourself first. The enrollment process can be completed online with the help of the below-mentioned steps.
Information required to enroll:
You must have the below-mentioned information to enroll yourself.
- 16-digit ATM/Debit card number
- 3-digit voice response number

Open the official website
First of all, You will have to open the official website. The official website can be accessed through https://www.ncsecu.org/ link.
Open Member Access Enrollment form
On the homepage of the official website, You will see a member access login page on the right side (as shown above). Now click the “Enroll in Member Access” link located below the login form. You will see a new SECU enrollment page (as shown below)
Fill the Member Access Enrollment form
In this enrollment form, Enter your 16-digit ATM/Debit Card Number and your 3-digit Voice Response Number. After that, click the Continue button.
Accept the Agreement Terms
On the next page, accept the E-Sign Agreement, Online Services Agreement terms and conditions by selecting the check box. After that, select the “Accept and Continue” button.
Create new User Id and Password
On the next page, you will have to create a new user Id and password. Please ensure that the user id must be unique. Make a new password by typing a strong password two times. This new User ID and Password will be used for all future sign-on. After that click the Continue button.
Make security questions
On the next page, you will have to choose any 6 questions out of 22 and write any answers which you can remember easily. In case you forget your password, The answers to these security questions will help you to recover your password. Please remember the security questions and their exact answers or write them somewhere securely.
Click the Submit button to finish your Enrollment.
Finally, click the Submit button. Your enrollment process has been completed and you can log in by using your created login credentials.

SECU Login: How to log in to the Member access account?
If you have your user id and password then you can easily log in and check your account information online. Please have a look at the login process given below.
Step 1: Open the official website.
Step 2: A login form is available on the homepage or you may click the Sign In link located at the top right corner. A new login window will appear on the screen.
Step 3: Enter your user id and password in the login form and click the Sign In button.
How to reset member access login password?
If you forgot your login password then you can reset it with the help of the below steps.
- Open the official website and click the Sign In link located at the top right corner.
- Click the Forgot Password link located below the login form.
- On the next page, enter your user id and the last five digits of your Social Security number.
- Click the Continue button.
- On the next page, Select the security question and write the answer which you have created while enrollment.
- Write the answer of other question.
- Create a new password.
What if you forgot your User Id?

Online SECU Services
After the log in all members can access the all-important online services available for them through their online account. Some of the services are mentioned below. Please have a look.
i-View/Download Monthly account e-statement:
All registered members can enroll for the statement features. All users can view their monthly statements online after the login. Users can also download the monthly statement PDF file for future purposes. Users can sign up for the statement feature through this link. After the signup users can also set the statement cycle time. Users can download the last 18-month statement online.
ii-Access Year-End Tax Documents:
Users can access all year-end tax documents online through the member access login. Many types of tax documents are available for all members on or before 31st January. Users can access the below types of tax forms online. Users can download the last five years’ year-end documents online.

iii-Pay Bills online:
Now all member access users can pay their bills online through a one-stop solution. Bill Pay facility is available for Checking, CashPoints® Global (CPG), and Health Savings (HSA) accounts. There is no transaction fee for online Bill payments and users can also set up their recurring bill payments. There are some restrictions to using the Pay Bills service and you can pay the money within the US continental. Also, keep in mind that the minimum payment must be $1.00 and the maximum payment you can make is $25,000.00.
Users can transfer the fund to different credit union account. Other facilities are also available such as real-time loan advances, credit card cash advances, recurring wire transfers, Establishing or modifying one-time and recurring funds transfers
v-Apply for a new Loan and Credit Card:
The Credit Union offers Car, Auto loans, Personal loans, Home loans, Visa Credit Card. All members can apply for the Loan and Credit Card online. It’s a great facility and everything can be done through the online channel. The loan will be given at an affordable rate of interest and there is no annual fee for the VISA Credit Card offered by the Credit Union.
NCSECU Mobile access
Now all members can use the mobile website to log in and manage their account online. Mobile access is available through the State Employee Credit Union mobile website. The mobile website is a lite version of the full website. Log in to the mobile access page through the below steps.

- 2-Enter your user id and password.
- 3-Click the Login button.
NC SECU Mobile app
An android app is also available on the Google Play store which offers a secure login and all-important services related to the members of the State Employee Credit Union. Users can download the mobile app with the help of the below-given steps.

What is State Employee Credit Union?
State Employee Credit Union is similar to other financial institutions where members can deposit money and apply for a loan. If you want to join then you will have to purchase the Credit Union shares where one share value is $5 and you will have to open a share account which required a minimum balance of $25. So you will have 5 shares after opening a share account. Unlike other financial institutions, Credit Union is owned and operated by all members.
Member accounts are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). And all members can apply for a loan by visiting any local branch or by calling the 24/7 customer service number.

Should I Sign-out from the portal after completing the work?
It is a good idea to Sign-out after completing your work due to security reasons. It must be done especially if you are accessing your account from any public computer, cyber cafe, or library. You may Sign-out by clicking the Sign Off link located at the top right corner on any page.
What is the fee I have to pay for accessing Member Access?
Member Access is a free service and there is no need to pay any kind of fee.
How to add a recurring payment?
After enrolling in BillPay you can add a recurring payment for those bills which does not change frequently.
1-Select payee from the drop-down list.
2-Select frequency and account
3-Select the First send Date
4-Choose the number of payments you want to schedule for recurring payments or make it unlimited. You can cancel the recurring payment at any time.
5-Enter the amount you will pay and enter the final amount and select both boxes for if the final payment will be different.
6-Click the continue button to finish the process.
How to check old payment details?
All payments information are stored online and can be accessed anytime through the Payment History section.
How can I transfer funds from my account?
You can easily transfer funds to other Credit Union accounts such as Loan and Credit Card accounts.
1-From the fund transfer screen select your account.
2-After that select the account where you want to send the funds.
3-Enter the fund’s amount you want to transfer and click the Continue button.
4-Select Payment type for any specific transfer and verify all information.
5-Finally, click the Submit button to transfer the funds.
After the transfer completes you will see an acknowledge slip including the transfer confirmation number. You can take a print-out of this payment slip if you need it.
How to set a recurring transfer?
The recurring transfer is very beneficial if you have to transfer any fixed amount after any specific time interval.
1-You will have to select the Add Recurring Transfer and enter your Social security number on the next screen.
2-After that select your account and the account where you want to transfer money.
3-Enter the amount for recurring transfer and select the transfer date.
4-Select the recurring transfer frequency and add any other information.
5-Verify all details and click the Submit button.
Can I update my User Id, Password, Security Question?
Yes, you can update your User Id, Password, and Security Questions. It’s a good idea to change your User Id and Password at a regular interval of time for security reasons and prevent any account misuse or fraud activity. Account Password, User Id, and security questions can be changed through the Services tab located at the top side after login on to the Credit Union official portal.
What is Credit Card, Debit Card, Loan, account fee?
