PAO GREF Pay Slip 2022 download procedure

Step 1: First of all you will have to open the official website at https://paogref.nic.in/.

Step 2: On the homepage, you can see a login link on the top bar and in the footer of the website. Click on any one login link to open the login form.

Step 3: On the next page, you will see a login window. Here you will have to enter your user name and password.

Step 4: After entering all details click the login button. You have successfully entered into the PAO GREF portal.

Step 5: Now search for the Pay Slip link on your dashboard. After locating the Pay Slip link you can download your Pay Slip by clicking the Pay Slip link.

Step 6: Select the month and financial year and click the download Pay Slip link to download your Salary Slip for that month. Your salary slip will be downloaded on your device in a PDF file format which you can use again as required.

How a first-time user can download the Pay Slip?

If you are a first-time user then there is a slight difference in the process. you will have to use the default password to log in to the portal. Please check the below steps.

1-Open the official portal at paogref.nic.in and click the login link.

2-Now on the login page, enter your GREF number in the user name field and User@123 in the password field. After that click the login link.

3- After successful login, you will have to change your default password User@123, and make a new password as per your choice and which you can easily remember.

4-After changing your password log in again by using the new password and complete the Salary Slip download process by using the same steps mentioned above.

How to register on the PAO GREF portal

If you have recently been recruited by the organization and haven’t registered yet on the portal then you will have to register first to use the Pay Slip download facility. The registration process is given below. Please have a look.

Step 1: Open the official PAO GREF portal.

Step 2: There is a ‘New Registration’ option located on the top right side of the website. Under the ‘New registration’ option, you will get three types of registration links as mentioned below.

• Personal user
• Unit user
• Account officer

Step 3: Now you have to select one registration link as per your requirement. If you select the ‘Personal user’ link then a new registration page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: On the registration page, you can complete the registration process by entering the GREF number, Date of Birth, and Pan card number. After entering all required details click the ‘Submit’ button. Your registration has been completed now.

How to reset your password?

If you have already registered on the portal but somehow forgot your password then there is a password reset facility available and you can easily recover your lost password.

1-Open the official website and click the login link to open the login window.

2-On the login form you will find a forgot password link at the end of the form. Click this Forgot password link to open the password reset tool.

3-On the next page enter your user name, and email id and click the Submit button. You will receive an email including a link to reset the password and make a new password.

4-Now open your email and check the new email from PAO GREF. In the email, click the password reset link. You will be redirected to a password page where you will have to make a new password by typing the password two times.

You have successfully changed your password.

What is Pay Account Office GREF?

Pay Account Office was set up in December 1987 to prepare the monthly Pay Bills for all employees in all units. Initially, an offline system was used which was having a huge number of discrepancies. To make the system centralized and more efficient and reliable it was decided to implement an online Pay Bill system for the Border Road Organization. Now all GREF Pay Accounts have been computerized and functioning properly.

PAO GREF Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of IRLA accounts of GREF Officers / Personnel on the IRLA System.
• Audit of Imprest accounts received from the Unit Imprest Holders and bring all the transactions to Govt books.
• Maintenance of GP Fund of GREF Officers / Personnel including those on deputation.
• Issue of Quarterly Statement of accounts in respect of GREF Officers / Personnel, immediately after closing and printing for the respective Quarter ending.
• Disposal of part final withdrawal claims & issue payment authority thereof.
• Settlement of discrepancies.
• Final settlement of accounts in cases of
