What is Social Security Pension Scheme (RAJ SSP)?
Rajasthan Social Security Pension scheme abbreviated as RAJSSP is implemented by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJED) Rajasthan to provide financial and public assistance to needy, old age, sick, and disabled people of Rajasthan
Rajasthan SSP scheme has been launched to support the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) introduced in 1995 with the aim to help the poor and financially needy people of our country.
It is our moral responsibility to help those people who are not able to help themselves and need financial and other types of assistance. The financial assistance provided through this scheme will provide some relief to the old, sick, and needy people of Rajasthan.
What is RAJSSP?
RAJSSP is an online web portal developed by the National Informatics Center Rajasthan to make a transparent, effective, and easy online system for Social Security Schemes pensions application, status check, disbursement, eligibility check, etc.
In the financial year, 2016-17 Rajasthan government has got a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Rural development for the regular update of transaction data under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP)
Online Social Security Pension System (RajSSP) has also got the CSI Nihilent e-Governance award in the financial year 2016-17.

Check eligibility criteria through the SSP Raj portal
If you are not sure about the eligibility criteria then you can also check your eligibility criteria with the help of the eligibility checker facility available on the official portal. There are two options available to check the eligibility.
1-Check Pensioner eligibility by criteria search:
To check the pensioner eligibility by the criteria search method open the official website and click the reports link available in the top menu. On the next page click the “Check Pensioner eligibility by criteria search” link. A new search form will appear on the screen.
Now in this search form select gender, category, marital status, age, BPL type, disability, and percentage of disability. After that, we will be given a security code and click the check button.
2-Check Pensioner eligibility by Jan Aadhaar Number
You can also check your eligibility criteria by Jane Aadhar number. For that, open the official website and again click on the reports link. On the reports, page click on the “check pensioners eligibility by janadhar number” link. A new eligibility search page will appear on the screen.
In this search form enter your Jan Aadhaar enrollment and given security code. After that click the check button. You will get your eligibility information on the next page.
You can use any one method to check your eligibility criteria. After checking the eligibility criteria, the portal will recommend you a list of state pension schemes to which you can apply (as shown below).

Pension Disbursement process
There are many steps in the Pension distribution process that’s why it takes some time to get the pension in the Bank account. After the digitization of most of the government schemes, the time taken in the pension distribution process has also decreased. Let’s find out what are the different process involves in the pension transfer process.
1-The person will reach out to the Emitra/ Kiosk center for a new pension application. The application can be done through SSO Rajasthan also
2-Patwari and Tehsildar complete the verification of all submitted pension applications, make a list of the eligible pensioners and submit the reports to BDO for the rural areas and SDO for the urban areas
3-sanctioning authorities such as SDO and BDO sanction the pension amount as per the allocated budget for all the pension schemes available for the citizens of Rajasthan and send a sanction letter to the Treasury officers and sub-treasury offices.
4-The district treasury officer prepares a pension payment order (PPO) for the district treasury office and all associated sub treasury officers and start the sanctioned payment process Disbursement authority
5-After receiving the Pension payment order (PPO) Treasury office and sub-treasury offices start the disbursement process. Pensions can be received by cash or by post office saving scheme or by DBT transfer in the bank account of the pensioners
6-Finally, if everything goes right, Pensioners receive their monthly pensions in his/her bank/post office account. Pensioners can now use this money for their living
How to apply for the RAJSSP pension schemes?
If you want to apply for any pension scheme then you can visit your nearest EMitra kiosk center or you can apply online through the SSO Rajasthan portal.

You can apply for the social security pension scheme in three ways
i- EMitra kiosk center: visit your nearest E Mitra kiosk center and ask them to fill out the social security pension scheme application form on your behalf. The person running the center of the kiosk will ask you for the required document. Share your documents with the person. After that, the person will complete your application form and provide you acknowledgment slip. You will have to pay a small amount of the form submission fee also.
ii- SSO ID Rajasthan: Open the SSO ID Rajasthan portal and log in by using your SSO ID and password. If you don’t have your SSOID then you can create a new SSO ID. After login search for the social security pension scheme and apply online. You will have to upload the required documents online. After that pay any application fee if required.

iii- apply through the sub-divisional o Block Development Office: You will have to visit the nearest respective office. After that, you can ask for a social security pension application form. After that fill out the application form and attached all relevant documents. After that submit all documents to the Block Development Officer.
Note: After filling out your pension application form note down your application or reference number.
How to check Rajssp Pension status?
Anyone can check their Rajssp status through the online portal.
Step 1: Open the official website. Now click on the reports link in the top menu.
Step 2: Different types of reports link will appear on the next page. Now click on the pensioner online status link. A new window will appear on the screen.
Step 3: Now in this status check form enter your application number and the given security code. After that click the show status button. Your application status will be shown on the next screen.
How to find beneficiary reports?
If you want to check how many beneficiaries are taking the benefits of different pension schemes then you can check the report with the help of the below-given steps.
Step 1: Open the official website and click on the reports link available in the top menu.
Step 2: now click the beneficiary report link. A new window will appear including the beneficiary reports.
The above list is a district-wise beneficiary report. Now if you click on any district name then a new town/ tehsil wise list will appear on the screen.
In the above list, you can check how many pensioners than taking the benefits of different pension schemes in different towns and Tahsil.
You can get more details by clicking on the location link. If you click on the Ajmer Rural link then you will get a new block-wise beneficiary list.
Now again clicking on any gram panchayat name will open a new list according to the gram panchayat.
Now to get a village-wise beneficiary list click on the village name in the above search result. A new village-wise beneficiary list will be shown on a new screen.
As you can see in the village beneficiary report you will get the below-mentioned village level information.

You can also file a complaint through the official portal. If you are facing any issue or not getting the pension at the right time then you can use the complaint facility available on the portal. Please check the below steps.
Step 1: Open the official website and click the report link from the top menu.
Step 2: On the new page click the pensioner complaint link. After clicking this link a new complaint form will appear on the screen (as shown below).
Step 3: In this complaint form, you can file a complaint in two forms.
i- query: If you want to share any query with the official department then select this option. After that, I entered your application number, name, and anyone options from sanctions-related or payment-related. After that enter the given security code and click the save button.
ii- solution: If you are looking for any type of solution then select this option. After that kill the rest of the form and click the save button.
Your complaint has been registered successfully and will be resolved as soon as possible.
How to Check Payment register?
You can check the pensioner payment register with the help of the below method.
Step 1: Open the official website and click the reports menu item. After that click the “pensioner complaint form”.
Step 2: After that, a new search form will appear on the screen (as shown below).
Step 3: In this search form enter your sanction number and the given security code. After that, click the show report option. Your pensioner payment ledger report will appear on the screen.
