If you have an account with the State Bank of India then you can check your account balance by giving a miss call or sending an SMS “BAL” to SBI Balance Enquiry Toll-Free number 09223766666 from your registered mobile number. This feature is available through the SBI Quick – MISSED CALL BANKING facility.
How to register for SBI Missed calls, and SMS banking service?
If you want to use the missed call banking facility then you will have to complete a one-time registration process. After registration, you can access the below-mentioned facilities through missed calls and SMS.
- Account related
Check your bank account balance, download a mini statement, request for checkbook, and 6 monthly e-statements.
- Debit card related
Customers can generate a green PIN, and block the debit cards, on or off international transactions.
- Mobile Recharge
Customers can recharge their mobile numbers by sending the activation received on the registered mobile number.
- Subscribe to central govt schemes

How to register for SBI Quick – MISSED CALL BANKING?
Users can register by sending an SMS, “REG<space>account number” to 09223488888. After sending the SMS you will receive successful or unsuccessful registration SMS. If you get a successful message then you can use the Missed call banking, and SMS banking services by SBI.
Note: Your mobile number must be registered with your bank account and enabled for receiving SMS. If your mobile number is not registered, please visit your nearest SBI branch.

How to de-register from SBI Missed calls, and SMS service?
If you don’t want to use the SMS and missed call banking features then you can de-register yourself by sending an SMS “DREG” to 09223488888. After receiving the successful message you will not be able to use this service.

All customers can also download the SBI Quick mobile app which provides all the above-mentioned features. This app is available for both Android and IOS mobile devices. After installing the app customers can check their account balance, mini statement, and more.
There is even no need for any internet connection as this app uses your mobile sim card to call or send an SMS. There is no need to remember any keywords and no need to type anything if you are using the app.
How to download the SBI Quick mobile app?
Please follow the below-given steps to download the mobile app.
Step 1: Open the official portal at https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbf_quick.html on your smartphone.
Step 2: On the homepage, you will see the Android and ios app links at the top of the website. Now if you are an android user then click the Android app icon and if you are using an Apple device then click the IOS app link.
Step 3: On the next screen you will see the app download page. Click the Install button to download the mobile app on your smartphone.
Note: If you are not getting any SMS then keep your registered mobile number in SIM 1 slot and give it a try. If you are still not getting any SMS then contact your branch.
SBI Minimum Balance
There were different SBI Account minimum balance limits on the different types of accounts. Earlier minimum balance limit was 500 Rs which was increased to 3000 Rs for metro cities. Now there is no minimum balance or monthly average balance (MAB) limit for a savings account.
Can I use one number for two accounts?
You can use the SBI Quick miss call and SMS service for only one account at a time. To use another account you will have to de-register from the first account and register again for the second account.
My mobile number is not registered with the bank account. can I use the SMS and miss call banking facility?
In order to use the SBI Quick SMS and miss call service, a mobile number must be registered with your bank account.
Which type of accounts can use SBI Quick service?
Currently, the SBI Quick service is available only for savings, current, overdraft, and cash credit accounts.
How many inquiries you can make?
As of now, there is no limit on the number of inquiries you make in a day/month. You can do unlimited inquiries.
