Employees can access their Pay Slips and apply for Leave, the HR department can access Payroll and salary preparation-related services and pensioners can access pension-related services.
It is a transparent and effective system that is very useful for the personal management of permanent and retired employees of SBI Bank in India through which various services such as leave application, payslip download, pension services, IDF declaration, etc. can be accessed online.
Employees can access this portal through an online web portal or mobile app by using their login credentials. Mobile apps share more convenient features and can be used anytime anywhere.
Now all employees can access important reports, data, and information through the HRMS portal without visiting different offices which ultimately helps in improving the overall staff efficiency and productivity.
This portal is made on the SAPUI5 application framework developed by SAP.

SBI HRMS Login process
All employees can use the various employee-specific services provided by the bank after logging on to the portal. The login process is straightforward. Please check the steps given below.
Step 1: First of all, open the official web portal https://hrms.bank.sbi/. Alternatively, click the https://hrms.bank.sbi/2015/pages/authentication/sbihrms.htm link to visit the HRMS home page. You will see a login form on the homepage.
Step 3: In the login form enter your PF Index number and password and press the Login button.
After the successful login, you will be redirected to an employee dashboard page.
How to reset your SBI HRMS password?
If you forgot your password then the password reset facility is also available on the portal. you can recover your password by clicking the Forgot Password link on the login page.

New Updates
HRMS service availability in March 2024:
A note has been shared by DY. GENERAL MANAGER (IT-HRMS) including the availability of SBI HRMS services in the March (year-end) month2. Employees are suggested to apply/approve the reimbursements of various expenses & submission of Investment Declaration Form (IDF) through HRMS Portal as soon as possible.
Another HRMS migration:
SBI again developed a new HRMS portal in 2024 and also migrated some services to a new HRMS application on 22-01-2024. SBI employees can log in to https://hrms.bank.sbi to access the listed services. The new HRMS portal (hrms.bank.sbi) is powered by ZingHR. Check out the list of services moved to the new HRMS portal3.
New URL for the HRMS portal:
The State Bank of India has changed the web URL of its Human Resource Management System to a new domain. POLICY AND PENSIONERS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT, CORPORATE CENTER, MUMBAI shared this update in a document on 12th October 20234. The old URL hrms.onlinesbi.com has moved to hrms.sbi from 13th October 2023. Employees can access all the existing functionalities and services by visiting the new web address.
Upcoming SBI HRMS System Update:
State Bank of India is planning to replace its existing HRMS system developed through SAP technologies with a new modern HRMS system. A new mobile app will also be developed and replace the existing MyHRMS app. SBI shared a Request for Proposal (RPF) on 23rd Feb 2023 for the Procurement of a Human Resource Management Solution (HRMS) along with the mobile app, its implementation, maintenance, customization, and post-implementation support5.
SBI received 3 bids for this RPF where M/s. Infosys Limited and M/s. Cnergyis Infotech India Private Limited qualified after technical evaluation. Finally, the tender was awarded to M/s. Cnergyis Infotech India Private Limited on 16th June 2023 as per the lowest bid/L1/TC16. The scheduled date of completion of the Contract/ supplies is five years from the date when the contract was awarded (16/06/2023).
As per the completion timeline, it will be completed in 2028. The new HRMS system will have all the existing modules including payroll & tax, and Claims/ Reimbursements, Earnings/ Salary, Journey/Travel, Leave/attendance, Personal, PF/ Pension/Gratuity, Promotion/ Career Development System (CDS), Scholarship/ Welfare, Sundries/Misc, Reward & Recognition, Grievance Redressal, Collaboration, reports, etc. Meanwhile, all SBI employees will use the existing HEMS system and myHRMS mobile app.
