Seva Sindhu Karnataka: Karnataka government is providing a one-time compensation to the workers in the unorganized sector. This compensation is applicable for 11 categories of unorganized workers. All workers will get Rs 2000 financial help.

Due to the Covid–19-second wave a lot of workers are not able to earn and fulfill their financial requirements. A complete lockdown has also further created the worst situation. The government of Karnataka has addressed these issues and provided one-time financial assistance of 2000 Rs. All workers can apply online through the official Seva Sindhu portal.

How to apply online?

The online application process is simple and can be completed on the official portal. Please check all details below.

Documents required for the online application:

All workers must have some important documents required for the online application.

  • Employment certificate available on the official website.
  • Applicants’ photos to upload on the portal
  • Aadhaar Number to fill the Aaadhaar details in the application form.
  • BPL card
  • Ration card
  • Bank Passbook to enter the bank details

Online application process:

Step #1: Download the employment Certificate

First of all, you will have to download an employment certificate from the official website. Please check the below-given steps.

1- Open the official website.

2- On the home page of the official website you will see a link “Application for 11 categories of Unorganized workers to avail Rs.2000/- as one-time compensation due to 2nd wave of Covid-19” (as shown below).

3- After clicking on this link, a new window will appear on the screen (as shown below).

4- From this page, you can download the employment certificate in a PDF file format. Click on the given Download button to download the certificate.

5- After downloading the certificate take a print-out of this certificate and fill it out completely. After filling out this employment certificate form you will have to scan it for uploading in the next part of the online application process.

Step #2: Fill out the online application form

After downloading the employment certificate you can now start filling out the online application process. Please check all steps which are given below.

1- Open the official website and click the unorganized worker’s covid-19 relief link.

2- On the next page, click the “Proceed to apply” link.

3- After that, you will see an online application form. Now fill in all required details in this application form such as:

Applicants details:

  • Aadhaar Number – Aadhaar must be connected to your Bank account
  • Name – As mentioned in your Aadhaar card
  • Date of Birth, Gender, Religion, Caste
  • Mobile number
  • Address
  • BPL Card number
  • Name in BPL card
  • Upload the applicant’s photo

Note: After entering the mobile number you will receive an OTP on your mobile. Enter this OTP in the application form to continue the application process.

Profession details:

  • Select your profession from the given 11 categories
  • Select self-employed or working in any organization
  • If working in an organization then write
  • District
  • Taluk
  • Postcode

Bank Account details: Enter Bank details such as:

  • Bank account number
  • Account holder name
  • IFSC code
  • Bank name
  • Branch

4- After filling in all information select the “I Agree” check box, fill in the given captcha code and click the Submit button to proceed to the next part of the application process.

Step #3: Upload the relevant documents

Now you will have to upload all relevant’s documents. Please check the steps.

1- After clicking the Submit button an attach enclosures form will appear on the screen (as shown below).

2- Now upload all documents mentioned on this page such as

  • Employment certificate – Which you have downloaded in the first step.
  • Passport size photo
  • Address proof
  • Date of birth proof
  • Ration card

3- After uploading all documents click the Save Annexure button. You will see a list of all documents you have uploaded on the next screen (as shown below).

Step #4: e-Sign and Submit the application

After uploading the documents you will have to e-sign and submit the online application. Please check the below-given steps.

1- After clicking on the eSign and Submit button in the last step you will see a new screen (as shown below).

2- Click on the OTP button to start the eSign process. A new window will appear on the screen (as shown below).

3- In the given form enter your Aadhaar number and click the Get OTP button. You will receive an OTP on your Aadhaar registered mobile number. Now enter this OTP in the given space and click the Submit button. An acknowledgment will be generated where you can find your application reference number.

You have successfully submitted your online application.

Step #5: Track your application

After submitting the online application you can track it through the official website. The steps are given below.

1- Open the official website and click the Track Your Application Status link in the top menu.

2- A new window will appear on the screen (as shown below).

3- Now enter your application reference number, given security code, and click the Submit button. Your application status will be shown on the computer screen.
