What is the SSC Stenographer exam?
Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC Stenographer exam every year to recruit candidates for the Group C and Group D posts in central government organizations. All candidates who have cleared their 12th exams and have typing experience can apply for this exam.
Candidates will get a chance to work in the different ministries/ departments of the central government.
Currently, the SSC is managing the complete recruitment process for the Stenographer exam. From 2022 the Tier-1 exam which is a Computer Based Test will be managed by the National Recruitment Agency through the NRA CET exam. National Recruitment Agency was supposed to conduct a Common Eligibility Test this year but it was postponed due to the second wave of Covid-19 coronavirus.

SSC Stenographer official notification was issued on 10th October 2020. It’s been a long time since the notification was issued and candidates are waiting to attend the exam. Exam date
The official exam date was issued along with the official notification which was issued in October 2020. Since then exam date has been rescheduled many times due to the Covid-19 second outbreak in the country. Now the exam is scheduled to be conducted from 11th November to 15th November 2021. Eligibility Criteria
