Now all Syndicate Bank existing and Canara Bank existing users will use the Canara Bank net banking facility online. Canara Bank has also shared the guidelines related to the existing Syndicate Bank users. Now the Customer ID of Syndicate Bank has changed and customers will have to use the new ID. Guidelines related to the customer ID are mentioned below.
- Syndicate Bank customers will have to add 20 Crores to their eSyndicate Customer ID for future communication.
- For example, if the existing eSyndicate Customer id is 3456789, then the new customer ID after adding 20 crores is given below

- (e.g., if a customer is using his Customer ID 45612378 as his IB User ID in eSyndicate IB, then he should continue using the same eSyndicate IB User ID in Canara IB, and not the new Customer ID 245612378)

How to log in for Canara (Syndicate) net banking?
If you want to use net banking then you may follow the below steps to log in.
Step 1: Open the Canara net banking website.

In this login form, enter your user id, password, and captcha code, and click the Login button.
How to register for Canara (Syndicate) net banking?
If you are not registered yet then you can not use the net banking facility. You will have to visit your bank branch to register yourself for the net banking facility. Eligibility criteria for online registration:
- Customers must have an account with Canara Bank.
- Customers must have an Active Debit/ATM card.

Step 1: Open the official website https://netbanking.canarabank.in/ and click the New Registration link located below the login form.
Step 2: On the next page, select the “I Agree” button to accept the terms & conditions.
Step 3: On the next page, you will see a Canara net banking registration form. Fill out this registration form by providing your account details.
Step 4: After filling in all details click the “I Agree” button and enter the OTP on the next screen. After that, you will have to complete the rest of the process. You will get a temporary password on your email id which you can change after the first time log in.
How to reset your net banking password?
If somehow you forgot your password then you can reset it easily online. Just follow the below-given steps.
1-Open the official net banking website and click the Create/Reset login password link available on the login form.
2-On the next page you will see a password reset form.
3-Now enter all asked details in this form such as user id, date of birth, and account number.
4-Select appropriate options from the retail user and corporate user. After that enter a new password two times and click the Submit button.

Step 2: If you click the Android link, You will be redirected to a google play store page where you can see all available mobile apps offered by the Canara bank.
Step 3: Now click the Candi mobile app link and again click the Install button to download this app on your smartphone.
Step 4: After installing the app open the Candi app and enter your registered mobile number. You will receive an OTP. Complete the OTP verification process.
Step 5: Set a 5-digit passcode, which will be used to open the app again.
Step 6: You will have to create a 6-digit MPIN also to authenticate all types of mobile banking transactions. Finally, enter your debit card details to activate your mobile banking service.

Download Can Digital desktop software
Canara Bank has recently developed a next-generation secure digital banking software, Can Digital. Can digital provide some new features including the internet banking facility and some other extra new services which are not available through net banking? Customers can access their internet banking services from CanDigital software also. CanDigital is a highly secured software secured by REL-ID™. Currently Can Digital is available as software for windows and MAC. Android and IOS mobile app is also about to come which are currently in the development phase.
Download and activate Can Digital:
1-Open the Canara net banking page https://canarabank.com/NET_Banking.aspx. You will see some links on the left side.
2-Now click the Can Digital new and click on the download link for windows or MAC. The software will be downloaded to your computer in a zipped file.
3-After downloading finished, unzip the file and install it on your computer. After the installation, you will see a new icon on your desktop.
4-Now double-click this icon to launch the Can digital software. Enter your user ID and select a security question and write any answer. After that complete the OTP verification process.
5- Now you will have to make a PIN for this software to add an extra security layer.
I am getting an Invalid mobile number error?
If you are getting the invalid mobile error then you did not use the 91 prefixes before the mobile number or your mobile number is not registered with your bank account.
I am getting an email id not updated error?
This email-related error occurs when your email id is not registered with your bank account. Please visit the branch and register your email id.
How to download an account statement?
Log in to internet banking by using your user id and password and download the last 6-month statement from the Account activity option. If you want to download the older statement then go to the services menu item and click the historical account statement link. You can check the older bank statement of 6 months duration.
