Sign in – Uni Assist Online Portal

To log in to UNI-ASSIST Germany, follow these steps:
- Go to the UNI-ASSIST website: www.uni-assist.de
- Click the My assist link in the top bar.
- Click on the “Sign In” button located in the top right corner of the page.
- You may also visit the login page directly at https://my.uni-assist.de/login.
- Enter your email address and password in the respective fields.
- Click on the “Sign In” button to access your account.
If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking on the “Create new account” button on the login page and providing the required information.
How to apply to German Universities?
Please follow the below online application process:

Step 1: Inform in advance
Please which program you want to apply to in Germany. Whether it’s a Bachelor’s degree or Masters’s degree. Gather the required information and proceed with the online application process.
Step 2: Plan your application
You may visit the application requirements page https://www.uni-assist.de/bewerben/bewerbung-planen/ and check all the application requirements required to submit an application through UNI Assist. Below mentioned requirements will be useful to check in advance.

Step 3: Arrange the required documents
Please arrange all the required documents in advance such as Testimonies, language certificates, Certifications & Translations, other documents, etc. Please contact the University about the document requirements.
You may also check with the university if the below documents are required.

Step 4: Online application
To submit an online application, students must create an account on the My Assist online portal. After that, they can submit their application in online mode. Students will need a unique own uni-assist applicant number. You use this account for all your applications, even for several semesters.
Application process:
i-Register in My Assist.
ii-Provide your applicant details and educational history.
iii-Select the university and your desired course of study under course search.
iv-Choose your desired course. Be sure to answer all of the questions in the application carefully.
v-Upload each document only once. Name the documents clearly in German or English.
Step 5: Pay the required fee
There are different types of costs involved in the application process such as handling costs, payment options, assumption of costs, and Repayment of Credits. Visit the application costs page to check more about the different types of costs.
For example, You pay EUR 75.00 for your first desired course in an application semester for the certificate assessment and examination of further admission criteria by uni-assist. Each additional study request in the same application semester costs EUR 30.00. Total costs will be paid during the online application process.
Step 6: Final application submission
uni-assist checks your application according to the criteria of your chosen university. As a rule, you will receive your test result in 4 to 6 weeks. We will inform you by email as soon as the result is available in your My Assist account under “My Mailbox”. Please check your application status directly from your My Assist account.
