Chandigarh University is conducting the CUCET exam for admissions in the 2024 graduation and post-graduation courses for its Mohali-based campus. if you are looking to apply for Chandigarh University then act immediately before the last-time rush and submit your application form.
The CUCET Phase 1 exam registration generally happened from 20th October to 29th April. For the CUCET 2024 (Phase-I) session, the last date to submit your application is 30th April 20241.
How to apply for CUCET 2024?
All candidates who want to get admission in the different courses after 12th or after graduation can visit the official website and submit their application in an online mode. Candidates can also apply through the offline mode.
To apply online, please follow the below steps.
- Visit the CUCET website- https://cucet.cuchd.in for registration.
- Register on the CUCET registration page and create your profile.
- After successful registration, a confirmation message is sent through SMS/E-mail.
- Once registered, pay a registration fee of Rs.1000/- which includes the digital copy of the prospectus.
- Fill in your current qualification with your school name & subjects and choose the CUCET exam date available in the dropdown.
- Appear in the CUCET examination on the scheduled date and time through https://cucet.cuchd.in with your registered login details.
- The result will be intimated through E-mail and will also be displayed on https://cucet.cuchd.in in your login account.
Offline application:
If you prefer to apply offline then visit the campus and purchase the CUCET Brochure cum form from University admission offices/ Authorized centers. You will have to pay Rs.1000/-. After that register an account on the official website https://cucet.cuchd.in and login to your account. In your prospect, you will find a unique number after scratching the CUCET form. Enter this number in the online CUCET form on the official website and fill out other details as well. Submit your form.
What Next
While filling out your admission form, you will choose the CUCET exam date online. After that, you will have to attend the CUCET exam on the scheduled date and time. Please note that you will have to log in to your Chandigarh University online account to attend the exam. The CUCET exam will only be conducted in an online mode.
CUCET is an admission cum scholarship exam that allows students to get the opportunity to receive up to 100% scholarships to help manage their finances. All students who get a higher ranking will be eligible to receive a scholarship amount.
After the exam, a counseling session will be conducted. The date and timing for the counseling will be shared with applicants through the CUCET portal and mobile/email messages. Final results will also be available on the online portal that students can check after logging into their CUCET account.
Fee and charges:
For the CUCET 2024, Chandigarh University is charging the 1000/- Rs admission fee and 10,000/- Rs registration fee. The registration fee will be adjusted into the tuition fee after the counseling.
