National Testing Agency has shared the CUET UG exam scheduled through a notice shared on the official. Common University Entrance Test will be conducted from 15th May to 24th May 2024.
NTA has also shared the shift timings and the subject-wise exam date that all aspirants can check on the official notice.

CUET is a common exam to get admission in graduate and postgraduate courses in central and other participating institutions and educational organizations.
Similar to NTA which manages the CUET exam, the Indian government has also established another agency the ‘National Recruitment Agency’ to conduct a Common Eligibility Test for the recruitment of Group C and D posts in central government ministries/organizations.
What is the CUET UG 2024 Exam Schedule?
National Testing Agency has already completed the CUET PG 2024 exam. The Result also has been made available through the official NTA website1.
Now the agency is planning to conduct the Common University Entrance Test for the Undergraduate courses in central universities who are participating in the CUET UG 2024 exam.
As per the official notification shared on 20th April 2024 by the National Testing Agency2, the CUET exam will be conducted shift-wise from 15th May to 24th May 2024.
NTA has also shared the other key details in the notice such as shift timing, exam date according to subjects, etc.
Exam mode:
This year the CUET UG exam will be conducted in a hybrid mode that includes both CBT (Computer Based Test) and Pen and Paper modes. The CUET PG 2024 was conducted in a CBT mode only.
The decision for the hybrid mode exam has been taken by considering the feedback shared by aspirants.
Most candidates prefer the pen and paper-based exam and NTA has already conducted the CUET PG 2024 exam in a CBT mode, that’s why both CBT and pen-and-paper modes are available for applicants.
Few subject’s papers will be conducted in pen and paper mode and few subject’s exams will be conducted online in a CBT mode.

Subject-wise shift timing and duration:
Check out the shift timing and exam duration for your subject through the official PDF file shared by NTA on 20th April 2024. Aspirants can also visit the official website and check out this notification.
Test for the few subjects will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper) as requested by the majority of candidates and the rest of the exams will be conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
First NTA will conduct the offline tests (pen and paper) which will start on 15th May 2024 and end on 18th May 2024.

After a 2-day gap, NTA will start conducting the test in CBT mode from 21st May to 24th May 2024. Check out Annexure 2 in the official NTA notice and find out the subject-wise shift, timing, duration, subject code, etc information for the CBT tests.
Duration:
As per the official notification, the test duration will be 60 minutes for Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and General Test. The test duration for all other exams will be 45 minutes.
Other information:
- The Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission has given the responsibility to conduct the Common University Entrance Test CUET to the National Testing Agency.
- NTA will manage a huge student crowd this year for the CUET 2024 exam where a total of 13.48 lacs candidates have been registered for the exam.
- The exam will be conducted in examination centers located in 308 cities across India. For students outside India, NTA will conduct the exam at 26 centers.

Candidates are advised to check the shift timing and date for the tests they have to attend and start their preparation accordingly. Around 20 to 25 days are remaining in the CUET 2024 exams so it is best to revise the syllabus properly. Syllabus for all subjects are available on the official website.
