Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released its 2024 exam calendar including the official exam dates for the Common Eligibility Test (CET graduation and CET Sr. Secondary).
We are sharing the latest announcement including the exam dates below which will help candidates to start their preparation accordingly.
Rajasthan CET Exam Date

Its a good news for all candidates that the RSSB has released the Common Eligibility Test (CET exam) date. It’s an important update for all candidates seeking to secure careers in the prestigious government sector. This exam offers candidates the opportunity to get a job in the government department of the Rajasthan government.
Rajasthan CET exam was first announced in 2022 to manage the recruitment process for the Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts in Rajasthan government departments. As per the new recruitment process, a CET test is conducted initially to shortlist candidates based on the CET score. Later, the rest of the recruitment process is managed by RSSB.
Exam Date:
As per the official exam calendar shared by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board on 11th March 20241, we are sharing the dates for the upcoming Common Eligibility Test in the table below.

- The RSSB CET 2024 for Graduation Level will be conducted from 21st September 2024 to 24th September 2024.
- The RSSB CET 2024 for Sr. Secondary Level will be conducted from 23rd October 2024 to 26th October 2024.
Previously, RSSB shared the upcoming exam calendar on 13th February 20242 but the Common Eligibility Test exam date was not written there. Later on 11th March 2024, RSSB amended the notification and released the updated exam calendar

RSSB CET 2023 Dates:
The 2023 exam was held on the 7th & 8th of January 20233 for the graduation level, and the 4th, 5th, and 11th of February 2023 for the Senior Secondary Level4.
Rajasthan CET Posts
Please note that the CET exam is conducted to replace the written test for the various Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts. After that exam, candidates will get a CET score. After the CET exam, candidates will be called for the next part of the recruitment process based on their CET score.
Recruitment for the few posts will be managed only through the marks obtained in the CET exam while there may be multiple rounds in the recruitment apart from the CET exam. Additional tests may be required to determine the candidate’s eligibility and will be taken by the respective examination authority or department.
Recruitment for the below posts will be managed through the Common Eligibility Test. Post details are as per the previous notification. There may be changes after the release of the 2024 notification.

Remember, clearing the CET exam does not directly offer a government job to candidates. Candidates must score a higher percentage and clear other phases of the selection process. The main benefit of the CET exam is that candidates don’t need to appear for the written tests for different government job exams in Rajasthan.
