As per the new notices shared by the State Board Of Technical Education & Training, Telangana, the last date for fee payment of POLYCET-2024 without a fine is extended to 28-04-2024. In another notice, the examination date is also extended. The exam has been rescheduled for 24-05-2024.
All candidates can now pay their fees on or before 28th April 2024.
POLYCET 2024
PolyCET 2024 is a combined common entrance exam conducted by The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, Hyderabad. It is known as the “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test” in short POLYCET.
The main objective is to allow students to get admission in diploma courses in different streams such as Engineering / Non-Engineering. All participating institutions/universities take admissions as per the student’s performance in the PolyCET 2024 exam.
All candidates who have filled out the online application form but did not pay the required fee can take advantage of this opportunity and make an online payment.
The fee payment deadline for payment without a fine is extended up to 28th April 2024. This floating notification is available on the PolyCET website
What after 28th April 2024?
Applicants will still be able to pay their application fee, but a fine will also apply for the late fee payment.
Previous dates
As per the summary of the official notification for the PolyCET 2024 shared on 15th February 2024 on the official website, online registration was started on 15th February 2024 and the last date to submit the application form and pay the required fee was 22nd April 2024. The last date for fee payment with late fee was 24th April 2024 and the last date for tatkal fee payment was 26th April 2024.
The last date for fee payment without any late fee has been extended to 28th April 2024.

Penalty:
Penalty will be applied for the late fee as per the below criteria.
The late fee will be Rs. 100/- and the Tatkal fee will be Rs. 300/-
Exam date
Since the candidates are still paying their application fees, the SBTET has also extended the exam date. As per the previous notice, POLYCET-2024 was scheduled for 17-05-2024 which is rescheduled for 25-05-2024. Admit cards will be issued 15 days before the exam date and the result will be declared 12 days after the exam.
How to pay the examination fee?
Applicant can log in to their account on the official Polycet web portal and make online payments.
- Visit the official website https://polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in/
- In the top menu, navigate to Application -> Fee payment.
- Login to your account by entering your Registration Number / Mobile Number and password.
- After login, pay the required fee by using any available payment mode such as credit /debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
How to check the payment status?
Candidates can also verify that the fee payment is successful or not. For this, please follow the below steps.
- Visit the official website https://polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in/.
- Click the Fee Payment Status link just below the top menu.
- Check your payment status by entering your “Reg No. / Mobile No.” or “Challan Number”.
- Your fee receipt will be displayed on the screen and you can download that and take a printout for further reference.

Finally, it’s a great move taken by the examination authority to provide a few more days to make the fee payment and help them save the valuable money that they had to pay as a late fee. Candidates also get more time to prepare for their exam due to exam date extension.
