Rajasthan Staff Selection Board Cracks Down on Misleading Applications Filled by Candidates for various recruitment for government jobs in Rajasthan government.
What is the Issue
In a recent announcement yesterday (25th April 2024), the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) issued a warning to candidates who have submitted online applications without possessing the necessary educational qualifications as advertised or submitted the wrong information in the application form.
RSSB has also shared a notification on the official website [ 1 ]. The board found that there are many applications submitted for different recruitment drives managed by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board either lacking the required certificates or providing inaccurate information as filled in by candidates.
The board has taken strict action to avoid these types of illegal practices and warns candidates that legal actions may be taken against all candidates found involved.
According to the RSSB, such actions not only undermine the integrity of the recruitment process but also pose a serious challenge to fair competition among candidates. In response to these discrepancies, the board has emphasized its commitment to upholding strict standards and ensuring transparency in the selection process.
What Notice Says
In the official notification, RSSB said, “बोर्ड के संज्ञान में आया है कि कई अभ्यर्थियों द्वारा विज्ञापनों में उल्लेखित शैक्षणिक योग्यता अर्थात् संबंधित प्रमाण पत्र धारित नहीं होने के उपरान्त अथवा अन्य गलत सूचना अंकित कर ऑनलाईन आवेदन भर दिया है, ऐसे अभ्यर्थियों के विरूद्ध कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा सकती है।”

What Next
RSSB has advised candidates to withdraw their application if they have submitted any false or misleading information in their online application form for government jobs in Rajasthan. RSSB has also given a timeline to candidates to withdraw the misleading applications.
As per the official notice, “अतः उक्त भर्तियों में उल्लेखित शैक्षणिक योग्यता अर्थात् संबंधित प्रमाण पत्र धारित नहीं होने के उपरान्त भी अगर अभ्यर्थी द्वारा ऑनलाईन आवेदन भर दिया है तो ऐसे आवेदक दिनांक 26.04.2024 से दिनांक 02.05.2024 को रात्रि 23:59 तक (07 दिवस के भीतर) SSO Portal पर Login कर Recruitment Portal का चयन कर My Recuitment Section के अन्तर्गत संबंधित परीक्षा के समक्ष उपलब्ध Withdraw Button पर क्लिक कर अपना ऑनलाईन आवेदन पत्र प्रत्याहरित (Withdraw) कर सकेगें।“
Candidates can withdraw their applications from 26th April to 2nd May 2024.
How to withdraw online submitted applications?
We advise all candidates to follow the below steps.
- Visit the Rajasthan SSO portal.
- Login to your account by entering your User ID and Password or through other login methods.
- After logging into the portal, select the Recruitment Portal.
- Visit the My Recruitment Section.
- Click the Withdraw button for the application you want to withdraw.
It will withdraw your job application and you will not be liable for any legal action.
Other Instructions:
RSSB also suggested all applicants withdraw their applications only if they think that their qualifications and submitted information are incorrect or misleading.
RSSB shared in its notice,
“आवेदक ध्यानपूर्वक विज्ञापन के अनुसार वांछित योग्यता नहीं होने पर ही अपना ऑनलाईन आवेदन प्रत्याहरित (Withdraw) करने की कार्यवाही करें। एक बार आवेदन प्रत्याहरित (Withdraw) कर लेने पर पुनः आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं किया जावेगा। ऑनलाईन आवेदन को गलत प्रत्याहरित करने की समस्त जिम्मेदारी स्वयं आवेदक की मानी जावेगी। अपना आवेदन विज्ञापन के अनुसार वांछित योग्यता नहीं होने, गलत सूचना अंकित करने के बावजूद भी इस अवधि में आवेदन पत्र प्रत्याहरित (Withdraw) नहीं करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के विरूद्ध बोर्ड द्वारा पात्रता जांच उपरान्त विधि सम्मत कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा सकेगी। उक्त संशोधन इन सभी विज्ञापनों का एक भाग माना जाएगा।“
RSSB has also warned candidates that if they withdraw their applications, they will not be able to submit them again so do it carefully after analysing all the information and application data.
RSSB also said that It is the candidates’ responsibility to manage their applications and not submit the wrong applications. If the application is misleading in nature candidates must take action to withdraw their applications.
RSSB has clarified this in its notice,
“ऑनलाईन आवेदन को गलत प्रत्याहरित करने की समस्त जिम्मेदारी स्वयं आवेदक की मानी जावेगी। अपना आवेदन विज्ञापन के अनुसार वांछित योग्यता नहीं होने, गलत सूचना अंकित करने के बावजूद भी इस अवधि में आवेदन पत्र प्रत्याहरित (Withdraw) नहीं करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के विरूद्ध बोर्ड द्वारा पात्रता जांच उपरान्त विधि सम्मत कानूनी कार्यवाही की जा सकेगी।”
How to find out if I have all the required documents?
All candidates must read all the educational qualification-related information available in the official notification.
For example, as per the official notification for “पर्यवेक्षक (महिला) सीधी भर्ती-2024”, candidates can find all the required documents and other information on page 14 of the notification PDF file. Read all the information carefully.
This document clearly says, “आवेदक द्वारा ऑनलाईन आवेदन में भरी गई शैक्षणिक योग्यता को ही अंतिम रूप से मान्य किया जावेगा। ऑनलाईन आवेदन में दर्ज योग्यता के अतिरिक्त अन्य संस्था/ विश्वविद्यालय से प्रदत्त डिग्री/डिप्लोमा को स्वीकार/मान्य नहीं किया जावेगा। अतः आवेदक सावधानीपूर्वक अपनी शैक्षणिक योग्यता ऑनलाईन आवेदन में भरें।2“
