Haryana Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for the Haryana CET 2023 recruitment for the Group ‘D’ and Group ‘C’ posts. There were many candidates who hadn’t applied for the Common Eligibility Test in 2022.

It’s a great opportunity for those candidates, if they want to get a job in the Group C and D category then all candidates are requested to visit the One-time registration portal and apply for the HSSC CET exam.

The Haryana government has announced to launch of a one-time registration portal for Group C and Group D recruitment. This one-time portal will conduct a common eligibility test (CET) for the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

New Update: If candidates want to change their mobile number then they can send their request through the official website.

  • Visit https://onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in/updateMobileNumberOTR.aspx web page.
  • Enter your Registration ID and press the Validate button.
  • Verify your identity and add a new mobile number.
  • The mobile number must be unique and should not be used by any other candidates for Group C and D.
  • Candidates will get all new notifications on the new mobile number.

Update (30th June 2023: Official notification for the Haryana CET Group ‘D’ posts has been released on June 30, 2023. As per the notification, Candidates who haven’t attended the CET exam can register and submit their applications from 5th June to 26th June 2023.

What is CET Haryana?

Haryana CET is a state-level Common Eligibility Test that will be conducted by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission through a newly launched one-time registration portal for the selection of Group C, Group D, and non-gazetted teaching posts in the Haryana government.

Now all candidates can register themselves on a single Haryana HSSC portal once and apply for all upcoming vacancies through this portal. Candidates’ registration will be valid for the next three years and selection will be done based on the scoring in Common Eligibility Test.

Note: There will be no interviews in group c and group d posts and candidates will be selected based on the CET merit score.

The main objective to launch the Haryana CET portal is to provide a transparent, effective, efficient, and faster recruitment solution for the Haryana government vacancies. The first CET may be conducted in 2022. The exact exam dates will be informed soon.

Selection Process:

As per the official statement released by the Haryana government, the selection for group d posts will be based on the marks scored in Common Eligibility Test and Socio-economic criteria and experience.

Selection for the group c posts will be based on the CET score, socio-economic criteria, and experience plus they will have to clear the departmental examinations also. The weightage for the socio-economic criteria will be 10% for group d posts and 5% for group c posts.

What is the HSSC CET one-time registration portal?

HSSC CET one-time registration portal is a newly launched web-based candidates management system that manages the complete recruitment life-cycle for the Group C and Group D posts of the Haryana staff selection commission through a Common Eligibility Test (CET).

This one-time registration portal is made on a similar pattern to the National Recruitment Agency Common Eligibility Test.

Salient features of the HSSC Haryana One time registration portal

  • Candidates can register once and apply for all Group C and Group D teaching vacancies in the Haryana government.
  • Filling in the candidate’s details and submission of the fee in Haryana CET will be done once over the next three years.
  • HSSC OTR portal will help in decreasing the time taken to the complete recruitment process. Overall this one-time registration form will also save candidates time.
  • Similar to the NRA CET test, the Haryana CET portal will be responsible to conduct a common eligibility test and candidates will get a CET score.
  • Based on this CET score candidates can apply for all Group C and Group D posts in the Haryana government.
  • Now there will be no need to visit different offices of the staff selection commission for the document verification related to the different posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

If you want to apply for the Group D posts then you must have passed at least the 10th class.

For Group C posts minimum educational qualification criteria are 10+2 classes.

Age Limit

The Haryana staff selection will set an Age limit for all posts which will be filled in the HSSC one-time registration form. Candidates’ age must be a minimum of 18 years and the maximum age limit is 42 years.

HSSC CET Haryana Syllabus and exam pattern

The syllabus for the CET exam will be similar to the existing syllabus of all Group C and Group D posts managed by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission. As per the latest updates, no additional syllabus is introduced by the Haryana government for the common eligibility test. All candidates are advised to refer to the syllabus given on the Haryana Staff Selection official website.

As per the latest update, Common Eligibility Test will be an objective type of question paper with multiple-choice questions. CET HSSC will be having a total of 100 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark.

There will be two sections. 30 questions will be related to the Haryana History, Geography, Culture, Current Affairs, Civics, Environment, etc. and 70 questions will be related to General Awareness, Mathematics, Science, Reasoning, Computer, English, Hindi, etc.

FAQs

Which posts will be filled by the one-time registration HSSC portal?

The one-time registration portal will be applicable only for the posts that come under the Group C and Group D category of the Haryana staff selection commission. All other category posts will be managed by the existing HSSC website.

What is the eligibility to apply for the Haryana one-time registration portal?

All job seekers who have passed 10th, 12th, and graduation classes can register on the one-time registration portal and apply for the different posts as per their educational qualifications.

Can other states’ students apply for the CET?

Currently, two options are available under the resident’s section in the Haryana one-time registration portal.
1- Resident of Haryana (Domicile)
2- Permanent address in Haryana but not resident (Domicile)

After selecting any option given above, you will have to enter your PPP Family ID so currently only those candidates can apply who have a PPP Family ID. All candidates fulfilling these two requirements can apply for the Haryana CET. Registration options for other state candidates may be available in the near future but currently, there is no such option.

What is the last date for CET Haryana?

As per the official notification for the Haryana CET recruitment for the Group ‘D’ posts, the last date to apply for the Haryana CET is 26th June 2023 and the last date to pay the required application fee is 30th June 2023.
