Care Credit Card is offered by Synchrony Bank to its customers. It is specifically designed to pay medical treatment bills through a one-time payment or special financing solutions.
Since Synchrony Bank issues all care credit cards, Synchrony Bank also manages all card accounts.
Some important services are accessible only after logging into your account.
Care Credit Card login process
Consumers and providers got different accounts through the different websites managed by Synchrony Bank. The login process is also different for both Consumers and Providers.
- You must have your username and password. If you are a first-time user then register first and create your username and password.
- You must have the correct login URL.
- Account must be accessed from a secure and trusted device such as a smartphone or personal laptop.

Care Credit Consumer account Login on the online website:
“To log in, visit the Care Credit website at https://www.carecredit.com/. Next, click the ‘Sign-In‘ link at the top of the page, followed by selecting the ‘Consumer Log In‘ link. Enter your username and password, and then click the ‘Log-In‘ button.”

Step 1. Open the Official Care Credit Website.
The first step is to open a web browser on your device and visit the official website https://www.carecredit.com/. The website homepage will appear on the screen.
Step 2. Open the Consumer Log-In Page.
In the top bar, you will find a Log-In link on the top right side. Click this link and again click the Consumer Log In link in the sub-menu to open the login form. The login page will look similar to the below image.
Step 3. Enter Your Login Credentials.
If you have already registered a care credit account then you must have your username and password. Enter them in the login form.
Step 4. Login to Your Account.
Now that you have entered your login credentials, select the ‘Remember User Name‘ check box if required. Click the ‘Log-In‘ button to access your account.
CareCredit Consumer Login through the Mobile app
Consumers can also download the official CareCredit mobile app and log in to their accounts. It’s easier and more convenient to use and offers a secure, and faster login experience.

Mobile app login process:
- Open the mobile app on your smartphone.
- You will see a login screen.
- Enter your CareCredit account User Name and Password.
- Press the Log-In button to access your account.
- After login, you may enable the fingerprint login option to add an extra login security feature to protect your account.
How to recover the Consumer account user name?
If you are not able to log in and think that you forgot your password then you can recover that through the official website. Please check the below steps.
Visit the login page of the Consumer account and click the Forgot User Name link. You will see a user name recovery form as shown below.
Please enter your account number, the last four digits of your SSN, and your Date of birth and click the Continue button. This information will be used to identify your account. After the verification, you will get your User Name.
How to recover the Consumer account password?
If you have access to your user name then resetting your password is very easy. Just follow the below steps.
Open the consumer account login page and click the Forgot password link available there. A password reset form will appear on the screen (as shown below).
You will have to enter your user name, the last four digits of your SSN, and your date of birth in this online form. Click the Continue button and verify your identity. After the verification, you will see the option to reset and create a new password for your CareCredit account.
Care Credit Provider Login process
If you are a Healthcare provider and have a partnership with Synchrony Bank to accept medical charges through the CareCredit credit card then you may access your account through the official website. The website to manage the provider accounts is different from the Consumer website.
A provider must be a registered member and must have your User Name and Password to access your online account.
Please check the login process given below.
Step 1: First of all, you will have to open the official website. Click the Provider LogIn link available under the Log-In menu item on the top bar. Alternatively, visit the provider login page directly through the https://www.carecreditprovidercenter.com/ link.
Step 2: Once you click the login link, you will find a provider login page (as shown below).
Step 3: Now, enter your username and password in this login form and hit the Login button. You will see your account dashboard page after successful login.
If the login is not successful then you haven’t typed the correct login details. In this case, type the correct details or recover your username and password if you forgot them.
How to retrieve the provider User name?
Visit the provider login page and click the Forgot User Name link. You will see a user name recovery form on the next page.
Enter your Merchant ID Number, and Email Address and press the Submit button. You will see further instructions on the screen to recover your User ID.
How to reset the password?
In order to reset your password, first, you will have to open the provider login page. On the login form, click the Forgot password link. A password reset form will appear on the next page (as shown below).
There will be three steps to make a new password for your account.
- Identify yourself – Verify your identity by entering your User Name and Merchant ID Number. Click the Submit button to proceed with the next step.
- Confirm your identity – Confirm your identity and proceed to the next step.
- Set a new password – Create a new password by typing it two times.
Note: To reset your password, you must have your username. If you forgot both your username and password then recover the username first.
How to register a new CareCredit account?
Whether you are a consumer or a provider, you must have your username and password to log in to your CareCredit account. If you are a first-time user then you must register a new account. The registration process for the Consumer account and Provider account is different. We are sharing the registration process for Consumer account accounts below. Please have a look.
The registration process for a new Consumer account:
A new account can be registered through the online website and mobile app.
Registration through the online website:
Please follow the below steps.
Step 1: Visit the official CareCredit website. On the homepage, click the Manage link below the first image and again click the Register a New Account link on the next page. Alternatively, you may visit the Consumer account login page and click the Register link available on the login form.
Step 2: You will be redirected to the Synchrony website page where you will find an online registration form (as shown below).
Step 3: You will find four steps in this registration form as mentioned below. You will have to complete all four steps to register a new account.
- Account lookup
Enter your account number, SSN, and date of birth, and press the Continue button.
Verify your account information.
- Profile setup
Set up a new profile by entering all required details. Create a new username and password for your account.
Finally, confirm all information and finish the registration process.
After the registration, you will have your username and password and you can start accessing all online account-related services.
Registration through the mobile app:
Registration through the mobile app is similar to registration through the online website.
- Open the CareCredit mobile app on your smartphone.
- If you are a first-time user then press the “I’ve never logged in before” to start your registration process.
- After that, you will have to complete all registration steps as we have already mentioned above in the registration through the online website section.
What type of services I can access after logging in?
All Consumers can manage their accounts and access different online services after login. Consumers will get the following services and facilities available through their accounts.
- Pay your provider for the treatment charges.
- Check your account statement and due date.
- Manage online alerts that you get through email and text messages.
- Enroll in the automatic payment facility.
- Check account activities, transaction details, previous transaction history, etc.
