TPCODL Odisha Consumer Portal
TPCODL stands for “TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited” whereas TP stands for Tata Power. It’s a joint venture between Odisha GRIDCO and Tata Power where Tata Power holds a 51% equity stake and The Grid Corporation of Orissa Limited holds a 49% stake.
Previously It was known as CESU (Central Electricity Supply Utility of Odisha) before Tata Power acquired a 51% stake On 23rd December 2019 in (CESU to manage its five electrical circles Bhubaneswar (Electrical Circle – I and II), Cuttack, Paradip, and Dhenkanal. If you are residing in these circles then you are getting the electricity supply from TPCODL and you can make an online payment for your electricity bill payment through the TPCODL website.
TPCODL Consumer Portal Login, View Bill, and download
Citizens getting electricity from TPCODL can access their consumer portal with the help of the below steps.
- Visit the TPCODL website https://www.tpcentralodisha.com/.
- Now navigate to Customer Zone -> Consumer Portal from the top menu.
- You will see the login page of the TPCODL Consumer information portal.
- Click the Login link available on this page.
- Enter the Consumer Account / Old Account Number.
- Enter the given security code and press the Submit button to get your billing information.
After login, consumers can easily view their electricity bills, pay their bills, request service requests, and track the service request requests. It provides all the electricity-related services to consumers in a convenient way and makes online transactions securely.

TPCODL Electricity Bill Payment

- Click the Pay your bill link in the right sidebar or navigate to Customer Zone -> Bill Payment -> Energy Bill from the top menu.
- You will be redirected to the bill payment page.
- Enter your CA number/Account Number, Phone number, and email address.
- Press the Submit button and make an online payment.
TPCODL Bill Payment through digital payment services
Customers can also make an online payment through digital payment solutions such as Paytm, Amazon Pay, Phone Pay, Airtel Payments Bank, and Google Pay. Customers can use any one wallet payment option. The process is similar. We are sharing the payment process through Paytm. Please have a look.
- Visit the Paytm website or open the Paytm mobile app.
- Click the Pay Electricity Bill option.
- On the Electricity Bill payment page, type or select the state “Odisha” and Electricity Board “TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited“.
- Enter your Customer ID and Mobile number. You can find your customer ID on your electricity bill.
- Click the Proceed button.
- Apply the promo code if you have any and click the Proceed to Payment button.
- On the next page, you can use any one option from the below-given list to make the payment.

Payment through the Odisha Discom Mo Bidyut app or online portal
The Odisha government has also launched the Mo Bidyut portal and mobile app to help Odisha Discom consumers to pay their electricity bills more conveniently. Please follow the below steps to make a payment.
- Visit the Mo Bidyut portal https://mobidyut.com/.
- The online Bill Payment link is available on the homepage. Click that link.
- Select “TPCODL” from the Discoms list and click the Proceed to Payments button.
- On the next page, enter your Consumer ID and select Energy Bill in the Type of payment section.
- Click the Proceed button and pay your electricity bill through any one of the available payment methods.
TPCODL Electricity payment through Odisha One portal
Odisha One citizen portal offers a quick payment facility to make easy electricity bill payments. Customers can easily pay their bills by following the below steps.
- Click the Quick Pay link on the Odisha One portal or directly visit the quick payment page at https://www.odishaone.gov.in/citizen/quick-pay.
- Select “Electricity” in the Service section and “TPCODL formerly CESU” in the Service Provider section.
- Enter your Customer Id OR CA No. and your Mobile number.
- Click the Submit button to get bill details.
- On the next page, make an online payment with the help of any available payment options.
- After the payment, take a printout of the payment receipt.
TPCODL One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme
TP CENTRAL ODISHA DISTRIBUTION LIMITED has started a One-time settlement (OTS) scheme for those customers who have outstanding dues. Customers can make a one-time settlement and save up to 30% amount on their electricity bill payment and up to 80% discount on the DPS scheme.
To apply for the OTS scheme, customers must register by using their name, Consumer number, and Mobile Number. Customers can use any one option from the below list to apply for the OTS scheme.

Customers can now lodge their complaints online regarding power supply, voltage, or electricity bill-related issues. Customers’ grievances will be taken care of online without having them visit any TPCODL office. Please follow the below steps to register your complaint.
- Visit the TPCODL official website https://www.tpcentralodisha.com/.
- Navigate to Consumer Zone -> Complaint/Grievance or click the Complaint Registration link in the right sidebar on the homepage.
- On the next page, you will find three complaint categories.

- Click the appropriate option to open the online complaint form.
- Fill out all the details in the complaint form and submit it to the concerned authority.
- Your complaint will be resolved as soon as possible.
How to apply for a new electricity connection?
If you are residing in the TPCODL circle area then you can apply for the new electricity connection online. The online connection facility is managed by the Mo Bidyut portal.

- Click the Apply for new Connection link in the right sidebar or navigate to Customer Zone -> New Connection from the top menu.
- On the next page, click the Apply for New Connection link. You will be redirected to the Mo Bidyut portal.
- If you want to check the status of your new connection then click the New Connection Status link.
