What is the AP Sand online booking Portal?

AP Sand Sale Management & Monitoring System or AP Sand online booking portal is developed by the Department of Mines & Geology, Government of Andhra Pradesh for the Sale and tracking of sand online through portal and app.

Sand purchase in Andhra Pradesh was a very lengthy and tough process and customers had to visit multiple offices for the final order. Now all citizens and Industries can book sand through the official portal which is a very easy process now.

It’s a great step by the Andhra Pradesh government to provide their citizens with a very easy-to-use, effective, and transparent system for sand booking. Recently the government has introduced a bulk sand order feature also for government and private customers.

APMDC (Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation) Ltd. is the official authority that regulates the total process and is responsible for sand transportation, stopping illegal activities, and fulfilling the objectives of the free sand policy.

How to order sand online in Andhra Pradesh?

If you are thinking to buy sand through the online portal then you must have an idea about the exact process. Andhra Pradesh’s online sand booking process will be completed through the five steps mentioned below.

1. Registration
2. Consumer login
3. Order & payment
4. Stockyard loading
5. Sand delivery

Important information/ guidelines for sand booking:

• For the registration, you must be at least 18 years old. Aadhar KYC is mandatory for sand registration.
• Please keep credit/debit card or net banking details ready for the online sand order payment.
• Toll charges will not be included in the online bill.

1-Customer registration

The first step of the sand booking is online registration. Customers must have a proper understanding of the sand booking online registration process. We are sharing the complete details about the registration process below. Please check.

There are two types of registration available on the portal.

1. General User Registration – If you are ordering send it for less than 2000 sq. ft. area
2. Registration for Bulk order – If the project area is more than 2000 sq. ft. then you must register as a bulk user.

General User Registration:

For the general user registration process please follow the steps given below.

Step 1: First of all you will have to open the official AP sand booking website.

Step 2: After opening the website you can see a link for consumer login/ registration on the right side of the website. Click on this link.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a user registration page. On this page, you will see an Aadhaar eKYC notification.

NOTE: Aadhaar OTP verification is mandatory now for the sand booking in Andhra Pradesh because as per the new sand policy 2019 consumer age must be 18 years old for the registration.

Step 4: Click the close button, now you will see a registration page. Click the General button on this registration page.

Step 5: A new page will appear where you will have to enter your mobile number and click the SEND OTP button.

Step 6: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number in the given space.

Step 7: On the next page enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click the submit button.

Step 8: On the next page, you will have to provide some of the below-mentioned information.

• Customer name
• District
• The rural or urban area
• Municipal/ Mandal
• Ward ID
• Address
• Landmark
• Pin code
• Email ID

After filling in all the information, click the next button.

Step 9: On the next page select the terms and condition checkbox and click the Register button. You have completed your registration process and you can log in now by using your mobile number.

NOTE: your registered mobile number will be your user ID.

Registration for bulk users:

Registration for a bulk user will be applicable for the large sand quantity orders. Please check the steps given below.

Step 1: Open the official website and click on the registration link available on the right sidebar.

Step 2: Now click on the BULK consumer link on the registration page.

Step 3: On the next page verify your mobile number through the OTP verification method.

Step 4: On the next page, enter your GST number and click the “GET GST Details” button.

Step 5: On the next page, provide details about the registered address. The system will fetch the company registration details through the GST number such as company name, Trade name, mobile number(as per GST), and Address (as per GST).

Provide other details such as:

• Authorizes person name

• District
• Select Rural or Urban
• Municipality
• Ward ID
• Landmark
• Address
• Pin Code
• Email Id

Step 6: On the next page, select the Terms & Condition check box and click the Register button. You are now successfully registered as a bulk consumer.

2-Ap Sand login on the portal

Once you have completed your registration process you may now proceed to log in to the website. Please follow The below steps.

Step #1: Open the official website.

Step #2: Again click on the consumer login/ register link on the home page of the website.

Step #3: Now on the login page, enter your mobile number and click the SEND OTP button.

Step #4: Now enter the OTP in the new space which you have received on your mobile. On the next page, you will see a notification stating that “Dear consumer if you are booking sand for more than 2000 sq. ft. of the project area, proceed to order sand under bulk user login“. You may close this notification.

You have successfully logged in to the portal.

3-online booking & payment

Once you have successfully logged in on the portal you can start this send booking process. Please check the complete process given below.

Step 1: After logging in you will be redirected to your consumer dashboard page where you will find some below-mentioned links on the left side.

• Order sand
• My bookings
• Register grievance
• Check payment status
• Bank details capture

Click on the order sand link.

Note: After clicking on the order sand link you will see a notification that the Government of Andhra Pradesh is in the transition to appoint a new agency for this sand sale management. As soon as the new agency is appointed the sand orders which have been ordered before the appointment date and delivery is still pending will get canceled and the booking amount will be refunded to the consumer.

Step 2: On the next page you can see that the consumer’s Aadhaar number and a mobile number have been auto-filled by the portal. Now enter the remaining information carefully.

• Full name
• Age
• Alternate mobile number
• Household Automatic watches ID

Step 3: Search your delivery address in the search box and enter the below information after moving down the page.

• Sand delivery district
• Municipality
• GP/ ward ID
• Door number
• Street name
• Landmark
• Pin code
• Alternate mobile number
• Constituency

Step 4: now you will have to enter the order details mentioned below.

• Construction type
• Size of construction
• Required sand quantity

Note: You will get a notification if any kind of sand quantity delivery is not available at the delivery address.

Step 5: After filling in the sand order details sand price breakup will be shown which will include:

• Sand price (per MT)
• Handling charges from reach to depo
• Door delivery charges
• Total payable price sad price

Step 6: Select the self-declaration checkbox and complete the captcha. After that, click on the submit button. You have successfully placed your sand order and you’ll be redirected to the payment gateway page. On the next page, you will see your sand Transaction ID.

Step 7: Now, on the next page, you will see two payment modes PAYU and SBI. Click on any one button from PAYU and SBI. Now complete the rest of the payment part through online net banking, credit card, or debit card.

After payment, you will see your payment receipt on this screen. You can also take the printout of the payment receipt.

You have successfully booked your sand order and you can check the order details in my bookings section under the consumer dashboard page.

4-Stockyard loading

After placing the order further process will be managed by the Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation. APMDC will load the sand from the nearest stockyard and the order will be delivered by you as per the delivery date mentioned in the delivery information.

5-Sand delivery

APMDC shares the delivery information with the transporter who has registered his vehicle to transport sand in Andhra Pradesh state. The transporter will ensure the doorstep delivery of the sand from a GPS-enabled vehicle. Customers can also check the delivery status from the official website.

Order status check

Booking status can be checked through the official website. A sand tracking facility has also been implemented within the original portal and app. Please check the below steps to track your order status.

Step #1: Open the official website.

Step #2: On the right side you will find an Order Status link. Click on this link.

Step #3: A new page will appear on the screen (as shown below).

Step #4: Now enter your Sand order ID and click the submit button. Your order status will be displayed below including the below-mentioned information.

• Order ID
• Order status
• Consumer name
• Booked quantity
• Booked date
• Dispatched date
• Driver name
• Vehicle number
• Delivered date

AP sand booking app download

There is an app also developed by the department of mines and geology which provides all the functionalities to the consumers that the portal does. You may download the mobile app from the official website by following the below-given steps.

Step 1: Open the official website in your mobile browser.

Step 2: On the right side you can see a link for the AP sand booking android mobile app. Click on this link.

Step 3: A new google play link will open. Click on the install button to download the app on your mobile.

Step 4: After installing the mobile app you can open it and start the registration process or if you have already registered on the online portal then you can directly log in by using your mobile number and placing a sand order.

Note: Currently, the mobile app link is not working.

AP sand transporter app download

Similarly, Transporters can also download the mobile app which is specifically developed for the Transporters. In this AP Transporters find the order details such as the order quantity, stockyard location, and delivery address.

Step #1: Open the official website On your mobile and click the AP send Transporter mobile app link.

Step #2: After clicking the mobile app link you will see a Google Play app link in a new window. Now click the install button to install the app on your mobile.

Step #3: After installing the mobile app you can open it and log in by using your login credentials. After successful login, you can check the order details and start transporting the sand orders to the customer location.

Contractor registration

Andhra Pradesh government has also given the facility of registration for the Excavation, Pattadhar, or Depot Contractors. If you want to apply for these services as a vendor then you may follow the below-given process.

Step 1: Open the official website.

Step 2: There is a link for the “Contractor registration” on the right-side panel of the home page. Click on this link. A new window will open that includes a registration page.

Step 3: On this registration page you will have to enter your GST number and click the GET OTP button. After that, enter the OTP in the given space.

Step 4: Now, fill in other required information such as:

• Agency name
• Agency address
• Mobile number
• Pancard Number

Step 5: Now, make a new password and enter your personal details such as the Contact person’s name, email id, contact person’s mobile number, and OTP received on the contact person’s mobile number.

Step 6: Now enter the communication address details such as District, Ward, Rural or Urban, Address, and Mandal.

Step 7: Now enter the financial details such as:

• Bank IFSC Code
• Bank account number
• Bank name
• Bank branch name
• Account type
• Upload a copy of the bank passbook or canceled cheque

Step 8: Finally, click the “Register” button to finish the registration process.

Vehicle registration

A transporter who is interested in the sand or other minerals transportation work in Andhra Pradesh state will have to register their vehicle first. The vehicle registration facility is given on the official website of the DMG AP (department of mines & geology) Andhra Pradesh. Please follow the below steps to register your vehicle.

Step #1: Visit the official vehicle registration website.

Step #2: On the home page click the Vehicle registration link given in the top menu.

Step #3: A new vehicle registration page will appear on the screen where you will get two options.

• Vehicle registration
• Consent for sand transportation for already registered vehicles.

Step #4: Now click on the Vehicle registration link.

A new registration page will appear on the screen. Now enter the vehicle information in the registration form such as:

• Engine no
• Chassis no
• Vehicle class
• Insurance no
• Insurance company name
• Upload insurance copy
• Vehicle permit type
• Date of fitness validity
• Upload fitness validity copy
• Upload vehicle image
• Vehicle capacity (in CC)
• Manufacturer name

Step #5: Now enter the owner details such as:

• Name
• Aadhaar Number
• Mobile number
• Alternate mobile number
• Address

Step #6: Now select the self-declaration check box, fill in the captcha code, and click the “Submit” button.

You have successfully registered your vehicle for sand transportation in Andhra Pradesh.

Get official consent for sand transportation:

After the registration, you will require consent to transport the sand.

Step 1: Open the official website and click the vehicle registration link.

Step 2: On the vehicle registration page, click the “consent for sand transportation for already registered vehicles” link.

A new page will appear on the screen.

Step 3: Enter your registration number and click the Search button. Your registration details will appear on the screen. After that click the GET SMS button and complete the rest of the process.

Apply for a GPS device

Now a GPS device is mandatory if you want to transport the sand in Andhra Pradesh. This step is taken to ensure the proper and accurate tracking of the vehicles through a GPS device that shows the exact location of the vehicle.

Many vendors have been registered with the DMG AP (Department of Mines & geology) to provide the GPS devices. You may click this link to get the GPS device details and the pricing for different devices. You may directly contact the GPS device vendor to purchase a GPS device.

All vehicle owners must also ensure that the communication system through a GPS device is in working condition. If there is any issue, please contact your GPS vendor immediately.

Department login

Department officials can also log in on the portal to perform important official tasks such as assigning different work to different stack holders. Approve sand orders and share details with transporters and contractors. Please check the below-given process.

Step #1: Open the official website.

Step #2: On the right side click the Department login link.

Step #3: You will be redirected to a new login page that is specifically included for the department’s official work.

Step #4: Now enter your user name, password, and captcha code, and click the Login button to enter into the employee dashboard page.

AP new sand policy 2019

Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a new sand policy in September 2019 which will be applicable from 5th September 2019. Some salient features of the new sand policy are given below.

• As per the new sand policy 2019, APMDC Ltd has been appointed as the official entity to manage the entire sand sale and transportation process.
• District administration will regulate the excavation of sand and ensure the sand will be sent to the nearest APMDC stockyard.
• The district collector will ensure all necessary approvals and hand over the sand to APMDC Ltd.
• De-silation work will be managed by the Irrigation department and after that Irrigation, the department will ensure the sand delivery to APMDC Ltd.
• Sand delivery outside of Andhra Pradesh will not be allowed.
• The government will fix the sand price and consumers will have to pay the fixed sand price and delivery charges as applicable.
• APMDC will be responsible to make an online system for customer orders, delivery, and tracking of the sand orders. APMDC will also manage the stockyard maintenance, transportation process, and payment collection
