Apply for an Old Navy credit card
Old Navy Credit Card offers a lot of benefits to its customers and there are even many exclusive facilities available for Mastercard Cardholders. If you want to be a part of the Old Navy Credit Card family then you can apply for this card.
Application requirements:
New applicants must check the below requirements for a new credit card application.
- Applicant must have a valid address having a ZIP code.
- Applicant must have a valid and working email address and contact number.
- Applicant must have their Social Security Number.
- The applicant must be a citizen of the United States.
There are two ways you can submit your Credit Card application.
- Offline application at Old Navy stores
- Online application through the official website.

i-Offline application:
You can visit any Old Navy store and submit an offline application to the concerned representative. You will have to submit other documents along with the Credit Card application form such as Identity Proof, Income documents, etc.
If you are approved for the Credit Card then you will be notified via email or text message.
ii-Online application:
The online application process is more convenient and a preferred choice of most new Cardmembers due to its very easy process.
The online application process can be completed with the help of the simple steps mentioned below.
Step 1: You may open the Credit Card online application form in two ways.
- By visiting the official website https://oldnavy.gap.com/. There is a link to apply for a new Credit Card at the bottom of the homepage. If you click this link, you will be redirected to an online application form.
- By opening the Old Navy Barclays credit card web page at https://cards.barclaycardus.com/banking/cards/navyist-rewards-mastercard/. Click the Apply Now link located in the main menu.
By using any method, You will see a Credit Card online application prefilling form (as shown below).
Enter your SSN and mobile number to pre-fill some of your basic information in the online application form and click the Continue button.
If you want to start a fresh application, click the No Thanks button. A new empty online application form will appear on the screen (as shown below).
You will have to finish this application process in three steps.
- Personal Info
- Financial Info
- Submit
Fill out this form by providing personal information including address, contact details, etc, and Financial information. Submit this form for the verification and approval process. New Credit Card applications will be approved by Barclays Bank.
After the approval and completion of all formalities, your Credit Card will be dispatched to you by Mail and will be delivered within 7 to 10 business days to your location.
Note: Customers can also request an Express Delivery, Your new card will be sent via next-day FedEx delivery if the express delivery request is made before 3:00 pm ET of that day. If the request is made after 3:00 pm ET, delivery will be made the following day. Delivery will be made only to your home address and a signature is required.
Which credit card you will receive?
Your application will be initially considered for an OLD Navy Mastercard. If your credit profile and history do not fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria then you will be considered for the OLD Navy credit card.
How to check the application status?
If you have submitted an application for a Barclays Old Navy credit card and want to track the current status of your online application, then please follow the below steps.
Visit the Barclays Old Navy account web page and click the Check the status link located on the login form. An application tracking page will appear on the screen (as shown below).
Enter your last name, last 4 digits of SSN, zip code, and email address, and press the Check Status button to view the current status of your online application.
How to activate a new Credit Card?
Once you receive your Credit Card you will not be able to use it before the activation. An online activation facility is available to activate your new Credit Card. Just follow the below steps.
1-Open the official Old Navy website.
2-Move down the homepage and click the Activate Credit Card link located at the bottom of the page OR visit the Barclays credit card activation page directly at https://oldnavy.barclaysus.com/servicing/activate.
3-An online Barclay’s card activation form will appear on a new page (as shown below).
4-In this online activation utility enter your Credit Card number (located on the front side), Security Code (located on the backside), and the last four digits of your SSN.
5-Select your occupation and click the Activate link and your Card will be instantly activated and ready for the transactions.
Activate new credit card through phone call:
New customers can also call the customer service phone number to activate their credit cards. To activate a new card, please call the card activation service at 866-828-5985 and follow the on-call instructions and your card will be activated instantly.
Old Navy Credit Card PIN:
A 4 digits PIN is required to withdraw cash from ATMs and perform some online transactions. Barclays shares PIN with all cardholders at the time of account opening. Cardholders will also be able to create a new PIN in two situations.
- If the cardholder activates a new card online then he can create a PIN just after activating the Old Navy card.
- If a cardholder activates the new card by calling the customer service phone number then also cardholder can create a PIN.
Note: The new PIN you created will be activated only after your first transaction at a chip-card terminal with a cashier. A PIN will be assigned to the primary cardholder only. If there are authorized users for your account then you can share your PIN with them.
